Is it too little, too late? I think so.

Without Forte and a solid running game they'll need a QB that can move the ball and control the speed of the game against the Packers. Good luck with that. Martz will just stick him in and have him fling it down the field for three INT's.

Luke McCown, who was a week one starter ahead of a raw rookie QB.

Or Josh McCown, who was out of the NFL and coaching a football team prior to signing with the Bears.

Haha, until I read your post I assumed they were the same person! Maybe Josh will have better luck than his brother. He is playing the Packers "defense", after all...

"I didn’t know Martz was running the Bears’ war room. And, yeah, what great foresight for a team that had two quarterbacks on their roster to invest a fifth round draft choice on a developmental QB."

Ya, you obviously don't know, because the Enderle pick was all Martz. He fell in love with him.

He'll probably take over as their 2nd QB next season, but he's not ready just yet

Give Martz credit, he knew Caleb Hanie was terrible. That’s why he went after Collins and that’s why he drafted Enderle.

Such a shame, at 7-3 we are getting better every week. With any kind of "serviceable" QB we beat KC & Denver with ease and are sitting 9-5 at worst controlling our playoff destiny. Heck with a decent QB we beat the Raiders & Seahawks as well. Shame on you Lovie on your evaluating skills and thinking Hanie was a good #2 option. Our defense keeps getting older and older and there isn't many windows of opportunity left for this unit to win it all. Now on top of it you got Forte who looks to be around maybe 1 more year with a franchise tag. Hurd was more of a loss on special teams then at WR but he's gone, I would expect Roy Williams to be gone and I have serious doubt Johnny Knox will return to play the game again. That leaves us with Earl, Dane and Devin and a group bad at evaluating talent to replenish a WR core that wasn't the greatest to begin with.

McCown shot up the draft charts after an outstanding performance at the NFL Combine, which saw him post a 4.57 40-yard dash, a 10-foot long jump, and a 38½-inch vertical jump.
why isn't enderle getting his chance? the genius martz personly worked him out and delared him the perfect fit for his system and had the bears draft him. why not see if he has any future so once the bears dunp martz they do not have to waste another pick on a backup qb. I admit I believed in Hanie after the championship game, but in fairness to me other bears fans we had todd collins who martz insisted on signing to compare him to. and as bad as hanie has looked this year collins was worse.

If I had asked you Week 1 who was more likely to start a week 16 game, would you have said....

Luke McCown, who was a week one starter ahead of a raw rookie QB.

Or Josh McCown, who was out of the NFL and coaching a football team prior to signing with the Bears.

The NFL can be a crazy league.
