It still makes me laugh thinking about “Joey The Dog-Face Boy” standing in front of the Ravens team bus trying to fight Ray and the whole team. Unfortunately, he fell into the trap that he didn’t realize that the system made the player and not the other way around. His days with the Dolphins and Cards were mostly disappointing. Good luck Joey. Maybe you can get a job as Jamie Dukes fluffer on the NFL Network set.

If you listened to him like you are supposed to listed to Ochocinco then he was pretty funny. Yea, his mouth annoyed lots of people but he was entertaining.

Mouth or no mouth, When his teams needed a sack he seemed to get one.

Yeah all the amazing people and family men I know allow their murderous pit bulls to kill neighbors horses. I’m a dog lover but PBs need to be bred out of existence. Let the ones currently alive live their lives (if they don’t do themselves in by attacking people and other dogs) and ban breeding.

Dude, I am a Cowgirls fan so I have plenty of reasons to dislike the Steelers – and their fans even more – but your characterization of their organization is absurd…

As you should, and I suspect, know, they have had three coaches since 1969 which is probably before you were born.

Their franchise is the model of stability and for me of class…Six SB titles isn’t all that bad either!

He was pretty much only able to rush the passer but he was damn good at it for a while. Solid career but he won’t be missed in Arizona, it’s no surprise their defense improved once the fossils hit the bench.

will never forget his best year as a pro, by far……. when he helped the dolphins win the afc east. he was an unstoppable force that year, nearly took DPOTY award. Every sack was in a key moment, quite a few ended opponents final drives, clinching games. i’m not the biggest Porter fan, but my god that season was one of the best a pass rusher has had, since LT in his heydey.

Whatever, hate if you must, but porter got shot in the rear end and played two weeks later, he also rarely got in trouble- one fight in a casino with a Bengal! And he is a real family man, ease up people. When Ray Lewis retires, I will smile and not say anything, most of you all should do the same. Enjoy life folks, stop being so angry!!

if this was about ray lewis (whom I think is a great player), even having avoided serious jailtime with blatently being an accessory to murder, everybody would be boo hoo’ing saying what ashame it was that his career is over. with porter, its like this guy killed your mom or raped your wife…..and it all boils down to one thing….

at one point in his life, he was affiliated with the steelers. 95% of your punk a$$ comments on this thread wouldn’t be here if not for that fact. you dont hate him, you hate the team he won a ring with.

My guess is he becomes a position coach at colorado state where he went to school. They are in the process of building a whole new staff.

You will truly be missed. I would have liked you to retire a Steeler but those memories wont be forgotten. You were our heartbeat. You spoke up when others didnt and instilled the confidence throughout the team that they compete with anyone. Steelers can use a player like that now.

You technically retire, but still get to draw a paycheck from the Cardinals.

It’s kind of embarrassing, but what are you going to do?

The trick is to make sure you do it AFTER you’ve had a good career instead of BEFORE (Kevin Kolb I’m looking in your direction).
