		<description><![CDATA[Wood shouldn&#039;t be active today, nor should he have been since his hamstring injury.  Hamstring injuries are way too easy to aggravate.

Also, glad they&#039;re resting Pouncey too.  Get him back to as close to 100% as possible for the post-season.

Ben should also not see the field today, nor should he have in San Francisco.  Not Monday morning QB&#039;ing --- said all this stuff before the &#039;Niner game.  The Steelers&#039; floor in terms of playoff positioning should have made this decision easy.

Moreover, the Steelers&#039; chances in the postseason bottom out if Ben is severely compromised, not to mention the notable production of Wood and Pouncey.  These are (obviously) key players.   Get them primed for the tournament.
