Merry Christmas, PFT Planet

It’s Christmas Day and as you visit PFT from your new laptop or iPad or iPhone or Android phone or whatever other device from which you can access the Internet or our various apps, we want to wish you all a Merry Christmas (for those of you who celebrate it), a Happy Hanukah (for those of you who, like David Lee Roth, light the menorah), and generally happy holidays for whatever holiday or Chanukamas blend that you recognize in late December.

We’ll be working today, in large part because this isn’t really work.  I’m currently on my way to New York for tonight’s coverage of the Bears-Packers game on NBC.  With the top seed in the NFC playoff field still in the balance, the game has relevance — apart from the intense rivalry.

Speaking of the rivalry, be sure to tune in for Football Night In America (7:00 p.m. ET), which will include multiple features regarding the history of the Bears-Packers annual two-game set.  We’ll also have highlights from Saturday’s games, for those of you who may have missed the games or the highlights.

So have a great day, check out our content throughout the day, and we’ll see you tonight for FNIA and Sunday Night Football.
