Getty ImagesThe Cowboys kept Felix Jones on the bench for most of Saturday’s loss to the Eagles so that he wouldn’t be on the bench against the Giants in the season finale.
The team expects Jones to start and doesn’t think he’ll be limited at all despite his hamstring injury.
“We think by limiting Felix to about 8 or 10 plays the other night, we’ve got him in good shape,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on KTCK-AM via the Dallas Morning News.
The Giants rush defense has been a weakness all year. Jones looked pretty spry last week when he played and the Cowboys are quietly a top-ten rushing team in yards-per-carry. We’d expect to see a lot of him on Sunday night.

I am curious, what did Jason Garrett have to say? I mean the coaches usually talk about injuries right?
I wonder is the GM behind this another great idea.
Yawn…… It really isn’t going to matter. The Giants are going to be prepared for the run being that Romo will not be 100% no matter how much the Cowboys try to say he’s doing better.
If Sean payton was the offensive coordinator for us we’d throw up 50 on this crap D. Garrett will call the game like a wimp put us in 3rd and short and throw a fade to L. Robinson that will be incomplete. When he first started he was great. Now he’s predictable and scared. I have no confidence and I’m hoping my reverse psychology lets me go to Dallas next weekend to watch us play the Lions.
He’s made of glass so it doesn’t matter anyways.
@unbiased8383 hit the nail in the head. Garrett was great as an offensive coordinator. Way too conservative now. Too much to think about?
Romo will be close to 100 percent.
Let’s see…
He is limited even when he is not limited, he sucks. Can’t take the presure just like little Tony Romo, hurt hand or not.
Felix jones and romo aren’t very good either way. Jones only makes big runs so we praise him for that and romo is the guy who we hype up to be the next great and to take the cowboys to the Super Bowl but we all know it will never happen
Gamesmanship. He’ll go out before the half, and the first time JPP hits Romo, so will he.
He’s always been ” limited” healthy or not

“Us”? So what position do you play? Didn’t see your name on the Dallas roster?
Good article Gregg, thank you. Attention NYG defense: STOP FELIX JONES. You may now return to your regularly scheduled practice.

Luckyarmpit,
You are a complete idiot. That is all, you may now continue to be a douche and say pointless things for all to laugh at.
