Philip Rivers had a down year, but still threw for 4600 yards with 27 TDs. Third QB sounds about right for him.

Antonio Gates is losing his mojo– he’s old and has been battling foot injuries for a few seasons now. May actually skip the game; probably deserved to be an alternate.

Eric Weddle earned that slot; posted career highs in multiple categories, most notably INTs. Needs to strip the ball more to be considered elite. Did better than Reed this season, but not as well as Jairus Byrd in Buffalo.

We didn’t have any major snubs in San Diego, although the person who mentioned Antwan Barnes was pretty close. 11 sacks coming off the bench… damn. Nick Novak did a darn good job filling in for Nate Kaeding, but Janikowski had a far-superior year.

And as long as we’re discussing Tebow– he sucks! Maybe he could make the game as an H-back.

I might be the biggest Tebow defender on this site, but even I don’t think he is a pro-bowler. Tebow is clutch player, a fantastic athlete, but obviously not a clutch passer… yet. He’s a work in progress and works in progress shouldn’t go to the pro-bowl (neither should cam newton or red dalton). But know this…. he is getting better. If you compare even the Bills game versus how poorly he looked in his first start against Miami he’s %100 better. And to all the haters out there, its only going to get worse for you. Tebow is going to be the starter for 16 games next year, the hype is going to get even bigger because he’s going to get better and if he gets some receivers that don’t drop 3rd down passes and a defensive line that can stop busts like C.J. Spiller, he’s going to win even more games.
P.S. He’s also going to the playoffs and and will probably slip into the pro-bowl so PUT YOUR STRAIGHT-JACKETS ON on get read for MORE TEBOWWWW!!!!!

Tebow is one of the worst QB’s in the league and is finishing one of the worst statistical season for QB’s. the only reason the Bronco’s are in playoff contention is the division they are in which once again begs the question should the NFL just take the top 6 teams in each conference regardless of division and rank them. Would be interested to actually have the best teams in the playoffs instead of teams that slid in due to the fact they ended up first in a horrible division.

This game is a relic and should be retired. Every year it is chock full of guys who are washed up, and missing players who should have been selected. I’m a Ravens fan but Ed Reed and Ray Lewis should not be going this year. Reed looks like a matador now and won’t tackle anyone, and both guys are trailing plays at an alarming rate.
