Agreed. Stafford and Avril were also snubbed. Not sure how, but it happens. I think the Pro Bowl is a joke, especially in today’s time. It doesn’t really mean much anymore and is about name recognition instead of actual achievement. Smh

It seems simple to me. Start winning some meaningful games and your players will start getting voted into the Pro Bowl. Unfortunately, you’ve never won a playoff game (or been to the playoffs for that matter). Until this year, the Texans were always one of the darling picks of preseason only to fail in the end time and time again. It looks like you might be one and done this year because of the QB situation but hopefully the team is on track to become a playoff contender year after year.

1) Yeah, the Texans’ QB injuries had nothing to do with O-line play: QB sneak and late hit.

2) Duane Brown broke James Harrison’s face, and that is awesome.

3) These guys get bonuses for making the Pro Bowl, so it means something to them.

4) Go Texans!!!

I do love the whole name recognition argument. People forget that coaches and players make up 66% of the vote. So unless we are saying that they don’t know football, then that argument doesn’t hold water (as Pierre Paul proved this year).

Very aware. My point is not that Winston should replace Yanda, more than I am surprised Yanda made it.

It’s the idea that a team blocking for Foster and Tate does not have a representative in the pro bowl. Winston would be my guess at minimum for representative because of his high level of play and strong character.

speaking of a slap in the face.MJD is leading the NFL in rushing while playing some pretty good defenses this year(Pit,Bal,Hou,Ten Clev) and is not a starter?
pro bowl voting is just a popularity contest.

For those mentioning two QBs going down, Shaub was hurt on a QB sneak and Leinart was hit after throwing the ball and having a few seconds of protection. Neither is on the o-line, just in line with all the freak injuries the Texans are having this year.

Ha like 5 years ago I did a speech in my debate class about why fans shouldn’t be allowed to vote for the pro bowl. I didn’t even have to study, easiest A I got in high school.

An don’t worry, I voted for your Brown. Regardless of what other people see, I see the converted T.E with amazing footwork who now mauls people from sideline to sideline. Good job, make them vote you in next year.

When you could possibly have (2) 1,000 yd rushers, not to mention all the catches out of the backfield WITH a 3rd string QB your doing something right.

Not to mention winning Time of Possession being #1 in the league. You do that by running the ball well.

To all you people that vote on Big Names, just wait until playoff time and the Texans are steamrollin teams’ front 7 with Foster & Tate… We WILL see the best Oline in the league.

There is a formula for this. Step 1: play well. Step 2: get snubbed because someone has a better reputation. Step 3: Bitch about getting snubbed and have it mentioned in the media. Step 4: You’ll be in the probowl within 2 years.
