Brady does return for start of practice

Despite a report that said Tom Brady would miss practice for a second straight day, the Patriots quarterback was present while reporters were in attendance at the start of practice Thursday.

Brady was seen doing some throwing as the team went through warm-ups, according to Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter explained the discrepancy in the reports.

“Tom Brady present for start of practice during stretching drills, which means Patriots can list him as limited. But Brady not practicing,” Schefter wrote.

Everyone is in agreement that Brady’s injury to his non-throwing shoulder won’t prevent him from starting against the Bills. Greg A. Bedard of the Boston Globe raises a good point, noting that this injury has received more attention than his injury to his throwing elbow earlier in the year.

Ok, kids… And what have we learned today that we didn’t know yesterday after Brady missed practice?

    Uh…..

    Exactly.

  2. ampats says: Dec 29, 2011 3:16 PM

OK Adam. Your report is right because Brady stretched and threw during the non contact part of practice means he did not practice.

    __________

    Precisely.

Don’t make Brady another Tebow and talk about him when he doesn’t need to be talked about.

  4. wideright91 says: Dec 29, 2011 3:18 PM

Brady is afraid of the Bills. He doesn’t want to play and is trying to get out of it.

  5. bozosforall says: Dec 29, 2011 3:18 PM

Streching drills? Is that where Tammy Boy bends over, grabbing his ankles while one of his teammates “stretches” him out?

  6. bmoreballers says: Dec 29, 2011 3:20 PM

Just let him sit out Sunday to make things interesting

Schefter has been burned. ESPN on ESPN crime. Quit trying to beat everybody to useless news Schef.

  8. CKL says: Dec 29, 2011 3:54 PM

Gee who knew that coaches give vets “vet days off” late in the year or in TC, etc? Bet he isn’t the only one. Don’t know for sure since I don’t usually look at the injury reports.

  9. kylecleric says: Dec 29, 2011 3:58 PM

    Rodak wins. Schefter loses.

I watched Brady throwing fine 2 hours ago. Put some of the credit right here. You were reporting he didn’t practice at all.

  11. blackbeardk says: Dec 29, 2011 4:23 PM

Brady didn’t miss practice because of injury…he has been in therapy because someone actually was allowed to touch him on the football field. He only allows his trophy wife to touch him when she brings him home a new boytoy.

Patriots-One and Done in the playoffs…pouting gimpy Brady, injured offensive line, worst defense of any NFL team in the past 10 years…

Huh ? A good point would be noting when he injured the shoulder, which was mostly likely on one of his many goal line sneaks the last 2 weeks. Further, maybe Bedard could ask why Brady was so aggressive using this play. I can see ceratin cases where its a clear benefit to sneak, but the frequency of use on the last 2 weeks seemed high. Sure doesn’t look like a free lunch diving head first into the goal-line pile

What amazes me more than a silly story like this is that all the haters take the time to read it. Guessing most haters commenting , their teams will not be in the playoffs!

He couldn’t stand the fact that Tebow was getting more rushing TDs than he was. Brady is the ultimate records ‘ho.

keep hating. the patriots will just keep winning

  28. patsfiend says: Dec 29, 2011 7:38 PM

Hey bozosforall, funny how you where not around when your fraud Yets were getting their @sses handed to them on the field and off. Where were you supporting your team when everyone was taking a crap on your coach and QB?

Glad to see you are back trolling the Pats boards and making gay jokes about Brady. It really lightens things up around here, shows a lot of Yets fans class.

Since you enjoy talking about Brady’s @ss so much, you’ll enjoy looking up his and Billy B’s for another 5 years minimum, and maybe another 20, in the AFC East. Happy New Year!

  29. blackbeardk says: Dec 29, 2011 8:18 PM

Patriots have feasted on cupcakes for the past two months…they last faced a team with a winning record in early November…and they are barely squeeking by the bottom feeders…one and done in the playoffs…

  30. 6ball says: Dec 29, 2011 8:45 PM

    .

    @patsfiend

Yes, your friend BOZO is definitely a JETS fan. He spends his whole day writing drivel about competing teams. Why not write about your team, chuckles . Tell us about how Sanchez is so skilled. Tell us about Bluntonio, Rex, Schottenheimer, Cromartie ( and his practice squad of baby mammas) . Tell us where you’ll be while the Patriots have their first round bye week….you probably are cromartie’s diaper mistress .

Pay attention to Pittsburgh or Baltimore fans, chief of the short bus. They’re interested in the team they follow. Unless you’re on this weeks schedule, you’re dead to them. Not so with you, however.

At the end of the day you’re a bitter clown who just can’t come to terms with ineptitude. And before you start your one and done horse mularky, or invoking games from seasons past, ask yourself one question :

Would you rather have the Patriots first round bye position or the Jets dead on arrival position ?

    .

OK guys, lets leave Bozo alone for a while, she’s probably got cramps again.

do we know when or if he takes his poddy breaks?

  33. patriotsadw says: Dec 30, 2011 6:17 AM

It’s amazing to me how many people call Brady a whimp, sissy, lady, Panay but not half of you would or could be able to do what he does so get off the mans grapefruits. Keep the bitter I wish I was him attitudes to yourself because he really doesn’t care. He will go home to his mansion with his supermodel wife, while you drive home from your McDonald’s job to go home to your trailer with your momma. So continue to hate we love the attention.

  34. irishpatsfan says: Dec 30, 2011 7:46 AM

Its funny , all are moaning about the BAD pats defence and yes its 32nd and you know whose 31st …..the packers , yet not a word is being said about that
