Baylor’s Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Robert Griffin III led his team to a Tecmo Bowl-style 67-56 win in the Alamo Bowl on Thursday night, and afterward he said his decision about whether to enter the NFL draft will come soon.

Griffin was asked in his post-game interview whether he has played his final college game and he said, “I have no idea.” But asked when he’ll decide if he’s entering the draft, Griffin said, “Pretty soon here, probably.”

That’s a departure from what Griffin has said previously, that he wants to wait until the deadline to declare for the NFL draft. Griffin sounded like he’ll be ready to make his announcement any day now.

Despite the video game-like numbers of the Alamo Bowl, Griffin had what for him was an ordinary day, completing 24 of 33 passes for 295 yards, with one touchdown and no interceptions, and adding 55 yards and another touchdown on the ground.

But while Griffin says he has no idea if that was his last game at Baylor, everyone else seems to agree that he’s ready for the NFL.
