1000 rushing yards in 16 games = 62.5 yards per game

    1000 rushing yards in 12 games = 83.3 yards per game – 25% more.

1000 yards in a 16 game season is NOTHING.

Jim Brown played 9 12 game seasons and he rushed for at least 1000 in 8 of them. His best season was around 1500 yds and his CAREER ypk was 5.2.

He remains the best ever at the position and one of the best players in the history of the league.

If Stevie Johnson could catch every pass that hit his hands then that would be great.

Raiders could have signed him, but he couldn’t pass a physical. He languished on the bench in KC while he recovered from his injury, then was cut for being a bonehead. He is a free agent next year, so if he can pass a physical he might sign with the Raiders if they still even want him.

It sure looked super duper cool, but with only 1 defender bearing down on him, only 1 yard away from the endzone, and a whole lotta field to work with…there’s just no real reason to have to do a front-flip over another player to reach the endzone. The guy could have Waltzed in.

*You see the way he was holding the ball? Not safe. If that ball comes out and the Bengals fall short against the Cards, Jerome’s coach asks him why he opted for the circus-clown flip over protecting the ball and powering your way into the endzone like a football player…

    (I know..I’m just a hater I suppose)
