Didn’t say Polian was the Baltimore Colts then. How he escaped being charged for assault on that Meadow Lands employee a few years ago must have been the result of some under the table payoffs.

Irsay was holding Baltimore hostage – wanting a new stadium or else. He was already looking before Baltimore could do anything. I do believe the City did sue the Colts/NFL and a “settlement” was reached out of court. Part of that settlement was that Baltimore was supposed to get one of the next new franchises – which I believe ended up in Carolina and Jacksonville. Screwed again. It did allow for an easy exit for Modell to leave Cleveland and go to Baltimore, but Modell could not take the “Browns” name with him.

I don’t put this solely on the loss of Peyton Manning, I cannot forget that the Patriots went 11-5 without Tom Brady.

No excuse for a 2-14 season. None.

The Colts’ problems go deeper than Manning.

I work in medical feild & if Peyton Manning has any screws in his neck he is risking severe injury! One bad hit & he could be doomed. I hope he makes right decision.

Never liked the Colts organization or Irsray the Sr. Will never rute for them since they moved from Baltimore. They clearly tanked the season and are undeserving of the 1st pick. The NFL needs to adopt a lottery system for the 1 st 5 picks to prevent this sort of thing from happenning.

I am sure they will be ok without you “ruuting” for them. And they clearly tanked? They won the last 2 games and the #1 pick came down to the last minutes of the season.

On one hand, Luck seems like a good dude and I wish him well.

On the other, as a franchise the Colts deserve to suck for a long time after this sham of a season.
