Vikings defensive end Jared Allen entered the day four sacks behind Michael Strahan’s “record” of 22.5.

Allen is now only 0.5 sacks behind Strahan.

With 3.5 sacks and counting against the Bears, Allen needs only one more to set the all-time single-season record. Some would say he already has it, given that Strahan’s record-setter came when Brett Favre gave Strahan a gift.

Maybe Josh McCown will do the same thing for Allen.
