Things are going according to plan for the Jets in Miami.

Their pass defense has shut down Matt Moore, picking him off twice. They have given up under 100 yards. Antonio Cromartie made a key interception to set up the game’s lone touchdown to give New York a 10-6 halftime lead.

On offense, the Jets are playing things close to the vest. There is no wacky pass-run ratio like last week. There have been some errant Mark Sanchez throws and no big plays from the Jets offense. They have five false starts in a quiet stadium, including four on one drive alone.

Sanchez threw a bad interception late in the half, but set up a long Dan Carpenter field goal.

The Jets could still be eliminated from the playoffs before the 4 p.m. games start unless Jake Delhomme and the Texans win in Houston. The Titans lead in Houston 13-10 at halftime.
