There is a number of things the Oakland raiders have to do to get better. First things first we all know chuck bresnahn needs to go. Go out and get a proven d.coordinator who was not in the Ufl last year. 2. We need a GM to run this team am I the only person who wonders who in the heck makes decisions for this team. It can’t be our head coach because even though I love hue he goes off of emotion too much. Let get a real GM and let hue do his job. 3. If hue doesn’t make that trade for Palmer were not having this conversation where exactly were the bears went straight down and pissed that we didn’t make a move. If Palmer gets a full camp he will be one of the best quarterback’s in the league. I like us having an elite quarterback. Campbell was good but Palmer is great. 4. McFadden is my boy but he is glass on the field. Wtf he breaks his big toe nail and is out the rest of the season. Running backs are a dime a dozen why not see what we can get for him now. I personally think he is elongating his career by always acting hurt. 5. Curry gave us some help but I think McCain after that shot in the newspaper should be traded. We don’t need dumb players who don’t represent the black and silver right. He fuels the fire for raider haters who say we are idiots who suck and like to fight. Plus to me he is a bust. Our dbS can be good I think with the right play calling and help from better linebacking. Our d line is h I think we could just need a couple pieces and a real d coach and will be there we need a few more players who have heart and establish team captains. Lastly 6. We need to establish our own place. Oakland coliseum can be loud but if we invested in a smaller stadium where we can be right in top of the field we can have a better home field advantage the wide open Oakland coliseum. A place to call our own. A real black hole. A place where hosting teams font want to come too. Raider nation and the franchise has to turn its image around this whole next year will be different crap is old. I’m 26 and that’s all I ever hear. Ill bleed black and silver always but c’mon. man lets get back to being commited to excellence!

No McFadden, no Ford, no Moore, this team would have finished 5-11 with Boller. Hue also knew Jason Campbell was limited especially in his ability to throw the deep and read defenses. Yeah the team needs a GM but their drafting is way better now. This was only his first year and I still remember those dark ages between 2003-2009 with Andrew Walter, Jalwalrus Russell and a bunch of other no names who couldn’t put up more than 10 points a game.

Hue’s not asking for anything. Al Davis already granted him this. Hue is in charge of the entire operation for the near future.

It’s why he was allowed to make the trades and roster maneuverings that he already did.

He’ll have an entire off-season to get rid of sloppy Al carry-overs.

Although the Raiders do need a new defensive coordinator, I would also caution you about not holding Jackson accountable for the team’s struggles this season.

I would respectfully remind you that it was your coach who lobbied for Carson Palmer in exchange for this year’s first round pick and next year’s second round pick. It was also your coach who couldn’t fix the stupid penalties that is costing your team games.

I think Jackson can coach and I like his passion. But he has a long way to go and prove himself being worthy of the power he is commanding. As it is showing, giving him more power may have consequences that may set your team back for years to come.

That follows what happened late in that Detroit game on defense. Bottom line is that they scored 26 points, just like they scored 27 points a couple of weeks ago vs. Detroit, and that should be good enough on most Sundays unless you have a defense this bad.

It’s refreshing to see a guy so passionate about his team and want to win this much. However, I suspect many have problems with him that are unrelated to whether he can coach or not.

That’s EXACTLY how I felt. Bresnahan was the main culprit. I felt Hue was worth keeping for continuity. But after those comments…he shouldn’t last the day IMHO.

Hue Jackson is a moron if he thinks the players are the only reason Oakland lost.

Regardless, how would he feel if his Players or better yet, the Owners broadcast that they were “pissed” at the coaching staff?

As for the D- line, yea the didn’t play great. The fact is I don’t think Richard Seymour has any respect for Hue Jackson and I for one don’t blame him.

For all the delusional people who thought Rod Woodson would be an asset to this organization, at least now realize they were dead wrong. The guy thinks he knows but he really has no idea. Stanford Routt regressed this season and none of our rookies really improved (not that Hue gave them the chance.) People thought playing more zone would help LOL. Teams ripped our zone to shreds. KC played single high safety vs Denver and gave up 3 points, but i guess that doesn’t work. LOL
