NBC Sports Network goes live at 4:00 p.m. ET

Due to the adjustment of the time on which the puck will drop at the Winter Classic (NBC, 3:00 p.m. ET), there’s been an adjustment to the schedule on the brand-new NBC Sports Network.

The sheet will be pulled off the channel soon to be formerly known as VERSUS at 4:00 p.m. ET, with a 90-plus-minute NBC SportsTalk.

Hosted by Russ Thaler, Rodney Harrison and Peter King and a certain Internet hack with whom you are familiar will focus on Week 17 and the looming wild-card round and playoff field.

You can bet they will cover hockey more than ESPN (or at least more than they used to, I haven’t watched in years except for MNF & some baseball broadcasts)
