Former Cowboys and Bears receiver Sam Hurd was indicted Wednesday in Dallas on federal drug conspiracy and possession charges.

Hurd and a codefendant Toby Lujuan are accused of trying to set up a drug-dealing network. The indictment accuses Hurd of cocaine possession and conspiracy to possess cocaine. It also is looking for $88,000 from Lujan and a 2010 Cadillac Escalade by Hurd.

Hurd is free on $100,000 bond. He could face up to ten years in prison. It’s probably safe to drop him from your keeper fantasy league team at this point.
