The crush of the news from the end of the regular season delayed the Week 17 power rankings for a day.

So here they are.

After all, we wouldn’t want you to begin the New Year without having an opportunity to question our sanity.

    Ok, let me see if I follow the logic. The Ravens beat the 49′ers, handily actually, and play in a decidedly more difficult division, and yet they are ranked behind them. So are the rankings based entirely on record with no thought given to head to head play? Interesting.

    These rankings are wack. Lets not forget the Ravens obliterated the Niner offense on Thanksgiving.. And yet, they’re ranked below them. I cant wait until everyone realizes the Niners are noting but overrated hype in that mediocre division who was won by a below .500 team last year.

    To the above posters, does that mean because the bills beat the patriots, that they should be ranked higher than the patriots, and the chiefs higher than green bay?
