I love reading all the BS you guys are preaching. Ranting and raving about this team or that- truth is you are scared silly. People tend to start bull crap about the team they most fear, so why all the worry about the Saints if you are not fearful of them? Nuff said!

I love how all the fans of the “non-playoff” teams seem to make all the “right” excuses for their team not making the playoffs. Great example is the Skin fans stating that the team started the season 3-1 and then regressed really due to the injury bug. And, that the team is a quarterback and a few playmakers away from winning the NFC East. WOW!!! You essentially described a few other teams in the NFL. Please, can we get away from the generalizations or, simply, the ASSumptions. Each team good or not face the same type of adversity each season. To test the strength of the team, is to see how they come out of these same adversity. If they fall out, much like the Skins, then they are just not that good then. Come on, give all of us a break. I understand you passion but just come on, really, that is your argument why the Skins didn’t make the playoffs? You have to present something better than that, because it seems like if it is not the QB or the injury issue, it’s the Coach or the schedule issue. Come on, something’s got to give. I’ll even wait till next season to see when the Skins don’t make the playoffs again, to see which excuse we’ll all hear from their fans.

Let me tell u something Ravens, the only ones who beat the Bengals were the refs that game. The ENTIRE game they screwed us. I actually love ur team and wish u guys werent in our division but that game was the worst excuse for officiating I’ve seen in my entire life! Even ur fans who were at that game admitted it . I really hope u guys go deep but I can only say, we SHOULD go deeper because of BOTH GAMES we got screwed because of the refs this year. (Greashams call back/touchdown too) ………. B.S.

OK, now YOU stop right there. Brady is not more accurate. Brees broke his own record for passing accuracy this season. He now holds the #1 and #2 spot for accuracy for NFL QBs…litany of others….

Brees has consistently thrown multiple pick games his entire career. Look at their career numbers. Brady has less picks than Brees in a few more years playing.

Actually, the whole team won’t be taken seriously until it wins a playoff game. Even then, they’d likely face the Pack at Lambeau in the next round and get housed. The only way the Falcons will get respect is if they go out there and take it. They’ve been hyped up too much the last few offseasons.

The reason Saints fans bring up the last 3 years when talking about road games is because that’s when we got Greg Williams and the coaching staff became “whole”. He hasn’t exactly resurrected the dome patrol defense, but he has definitely improved the ‘D, which is what the “Sean Payton Era” Saints had been missing in 06-08. Since 09, they have been elite, and yes, the best road team in the NFL despite what the talking heads like to say. Yes they are better at home, but what team isn’t???

You can stop right there. Pats are and should be ahead of the Aints. Brees may have thrown for a few more yards than Brady this year IN A DOME, but to rank his team above Brady’s is downright stupid. Show a little respect for Brady and Belichick. Brady is more accurate, plays in all conditions, is more demanding of his teammates than any other player in the league, and has walked the walk numerous times. Brees is a one and done. After Suh stomps on him (if he makes it thru that game) Pat Willis is going to knock that hairy animal off the side of his face and end all you Aints fans wet dream about a Lombardi this year.

The Saints are the most endearing fan base in the NFL?? Really? Seems like just yesterday, the Saints were the Aints and half the stadium was empty and the other half had bags over their head. I love how Saints fans bring up their road record over the past three years. The years prior to this one are irrelevant. Last year the Niners were 6-10, Tampa was a pretty good team, Raiders fans said Superbowl 2011, and none of us had experienced Tebowmania. This is 2011. The Saints lost on the road to Tampa and the great AJ Feeley led Rams. Saints are a scary team at home without question. NO, if they get past Detroit, has to go through SF then most likely GB. So lets quit anointing them the superbowl champs already and let the playoffs unfold

I’m fine with where you have my Steelers. But you were way too hard on the Bears and a little too hard on the Texans. Those teams would have ranked much higher but for losing their quarterbacks to injury. And at 8-8, the Broncos deserved to rank above the 6-10 Panthers. Come on.

Stop bashing the Skins players! The team was 3-1 before the injury bug hit hard. They didn’t have much depth to begin with but due to all the injuries, all but one draft pick( Jenkins) got playing time and about half of them will either be starters or get plenty of playing time come next season. Believe it or not, the skins are actually one qb(manning, luck, griffin, tannehill) and a couple of playmakers at receiver( Djax, Bowe, Wayne) away from winning the NFC east. We beat the giants twice. Once when they were hurt and once when we were hurt. The skins will definitely be in the run next year.

This has been one of the best smack talking comment threads of the year, I love it!

I especially loved the responses from boisestatewhodat to everyone else.

It’s going to be a wild run and if the Saints can make it to Indy this year then there will be no doubt about their dominance.

However if they lose to the Lions this week or the Niners/GB the haters will come out of the woodwork with the “I told you so’s”.

One thing is for sure, if you’re saying the Saints are all “for show” you sure as hell don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.

You don’t dominate NFL TEAMS for as many games as the Saints have and be all “for show”, dome or no dome.

The Saints are going down to (on) the 9ers.

Riddle me this, why do some of the worst teams appear to have the best defenses? Answer, because they play in crappy divisions against opponents who have bad offenses. Example AFC west. Not one of those teams have a respectable offense, well OK maybe the Chargers.

Here’s the problem with all the Green Bay talk. Everyone, repeat everyone, including their players and coaches, are just assuming they’ll be in the title game. But my friends, if the NYG beat the ‘Cons and go to GB, all that has to happen is for Eli to get hot and the Giants’ defensive line to harass Rogers, and GB could lose! It’s different being a #1 seed where everybody EXPECTS you to win versus a #6 seed where you have nothing to lose, like last year.
