On the road again, for the last time this year

images

Way back on Tuesday, September 6, I put some clothes in a kerchief, tied it to the back of a stick, and headed to New York for the first of 17 straight trips.

Now, with the regular season over, it’s time for one last excursion from WV in the VW van.

Tomorrow morning, Peter King and I will visit with the folks at Morning Joe at 8:30 a.m. ET, to preview the upcoming wild-card weekend. Shortly thereafter, we’ll head to Stamford, where I’ll do the PFT Live thing and Peter and I eventually will get ready for NBC SportsTalk (6:00 p.m., NBCSN). We’re currently scheduled to be joined by Falcons coach Mike Smith and Giants receiver Hakeem Nicks.

On Saturday, it’ll be time for playoff duty at 30 Rock, with a pop on the pregame show (4:00 p.m. ET) following by a live chat doubleheader in the NBC Postseason Extra application at NBCSports.com, which will stream the Bengals-Texans and Lions-Saints games.

On Sunday, I’ll rest. While watching Falcons-Giants and Steelers-Broncos and posting multiple updates at PFT throughout the day.

Then, on Monday, things get even more interesting with two days of guest-hosting duties at Dan Patrick’s studio in Milford, Connecticut, sandwiched (or, in some parts of the country, sangwiched) around NBC SportsTalk in Stamford (6:00 p.m. ET, NBCSN) on Monday night. The Dan Patrick Show is broadcast nationally from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET on radio, DirecTV’s Audience Network, and multiple regional networks. (Rosenthal will be pinch-hitting on PFT Live, which airs right here at noon each weekday.)

And then the best part is I get to go home. Until it’s time to go to the Super Bowl for a week.
