APThe Falcons and Giants released their final injury reports of the week on Friday and both teams are looking pretty healthy in advance of their playoff matchup.
The biggest concern for the Falcons is cornerback Brent Grimes. Grimes has missed four of the last five games with a knee injury and is listed as questionable. He was a limited participant in practice on Friday, though, so the hope in Atlanta is that he’ll be able to get on the field. If he can’t, Dominique Franks would move into the lineup and the Giants would get an advantage when they look to throw the ball downfield.
Linebacker Stephen Nicholas is doubtful thanks to a toe injury. He also missed four of the final five games of the season, although the Falcons didn’t see a significant dropoff in play with Spencer Adkins in his place. There were 18 Falcons listed as probable.
The Giants only had one player who wasn’t listed as probable, a good sign for a team that has been beset by injuries all season. Linebacker Mark Herzlich is out, but it looks like tight end Jake Ballard will be back on the field for the home side after missing the final two games of the regular season.

Finally the Giants have a great opportunity to prove all the naysayers wrong, and they’ll do it with the healthiest team they’ve had all season… AWESOME. I’m super stoked for this game.
Rooting for the Giants on Sunday because every team I root for loses…
@nygiantsallday now that you said that, when the Falcons win you wont have any excuses

Feels like an SEC team playing an ACC team…..
More talent at D Line, QB, and running back (now that BRADSHWAW is healthy)
Giants fans are going a little overboard just because they beat the Alice Cowboys.
That’s ok. You got one more day to thump your chests.
i love how you giants fans are giving the falcons no chance..
Falcons play in the better division and have a better record.
Falcons are coming in pretty hot..
Falcons have the better overall defense (giants on are better in sacks)..
and offensively the Falcons have a slight edge..

Giants are mediocre at best at home. falcons are on a roll. Giants are on a roll. Offenses score the same per game. Falcons defense is better. Falcons win. Simple as that.
