How amazing would it be to have 3 former Pac 12 coaches in the NFC West? Finally…some rivalries in the mish-mashed new division.

But – how can anyone blame him for saying no? The Rams will bhe struggling to catch up with the physical ball being played in the Pacific time zone.

Legacy-
Don’t get me wrong, our team isn’t a contender yet, but we’re definitely on the rise. Everyone in Seattle is baffled by the acquisitions of TJack and Clipboard Jesus, but TJack is sort of growing on us. And I honestly think in a year or two, our secondary could be the best in the NFL. Earl Thomas is a young Ed Reed,Cam Chancelor hits like James Harrison, both our corners are huge and fast and our D line is solid.

Baltimore is good but not deep enough to win a title. Let’s be honest too, Flacco is not much better than TJack if at all.

I have no real skin in this game as Im not a Seahawks or Ravens fan but I do have to laugh at the Seattle fsn criticizing Baltimores player personel. Any team thst employs both Tavaris Jackson and Chuckles Whitehurt shouldnt be talking.

Ravenspit-
1- you’ve done nothing but prove that you are an ass hat and that we are in fact better than you.
2- playoffs or not, you got worked by Seattle and per usual your team will underachieve in the playoffs again.
3- the Sounders probably generate more revenue after 3 seasons in the league than any of Baltimore’s franchises (except Ravens)
4- Besides Suggs, Rice and Reed, your team is mediocre at best.
5- clearly by everyone’s reactions, you are in the minority
6- you make Omar look like the Brawny man

Unless it’s your dream to be an NFL coach, why would you take that job over a college job? The average tenure of an NFL coach is 2 1/2 years, turnover is incredibly high with no job security. The current coach with the longest tenure in the NFL is Andy Reid with only 13 years, and fans are ready to ride him out on a rail. The NFL is a very “what have you done for me lately” kind of situation. You have to deal with national pressure in a league where it’s very difficult to win and millionaire players.

College on the other hand is far different. College coaches are like little kings in their kingdoms. Players are not the same millionaire divas they are in the professional level but younger more respectful and still working to get noticed, fans are often more forgiving, and big college football programs can use their clout to schedule favorable seasons with more home games and a few gimme games. Not only that but a decently successful college coach can stay with the team their entire career, something entirely unheard of in the NFL. And in bigger programs the salary is comparable to NFL pay.

I’m surprised he didn’t jump at the chance to get out of that social armpit Seattle, WA. All those tree-hugging, coffee drinking, I’m better than you individuals-who think the town’s number one sports team are the Sounders-soccer-”Oh how european thinking we are”.

But I don’t blame him. The college scene can be at least a little bet less pressure filled than the NFL.

Not many college coaches can or should make the leap to the NFL. It’s not for everyone.

Why would he want to interview? He is happy where he is and everyone is talking about Fisher.

I am all about trying to show why you are worth more than the favorite, however if you like where you are, then why do it?
