The Giants had tons of injuries early, KEY GUYS, and playing rookies who are now coming into their own. Those stats mean NOTHING. What you’ve seen in the past 5-6 games matters and right now, no one wants to see this defense. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

Add in the fact that the offense is Top 5, you can understand why the Giants are confident.

And no, this is not 2007, the offense is WAY BETTER.

Not sure where you’re getting your stats. According to nfl.com, the Giants were tied for 3rd with 48 sacks and the Packers were tied for 27th with 29 sacks.

The Giants were better in every phase of the game ACROSS THE BOARD except at QB, which is a wash. I cram to understand how packer fans made themselves so arrogant knowing key guys missed the FIRST game, and the refs cheated to help you win, then had the refs BLATANTLY cheat again, with those key guys giving us even more advantages and you STILL lost (and should have lost by the 45-17 score that most of you imbeciles were predicting that WE would lose by).

1. Any comment condemning the person for saying they are going to win:

Would you feel better if they said they might win? Perhaps you would appreciate it more if they said they will probably lose? Personally if my team is in the playoffs (damn you Jerry Jones) I would want my players saying they were going to win! All players feel the same way, it’s just a few that are willing to come out and say it.

2. The bulletin board material comment:

Really? Do you REALLY think that these professional athletes who train their entire lives to be in the position that they are in really need more motivation?? Seriously do you think Arron Rodgers saw this comment and said, “oh gee now I’m really going to try harder to win”? Of course not. These players are at the top of their game. The best of the best. You do not get were they are by needing something to motivate them beyond their will to be the best at what they do.

That said, anyone remember Plax’s SB guarantee? Missed the final score by only a couple points…. I will never forget Tom Brady’svresponse, weve got a pretty good offense. I think we an muster up a few morepointsthan 10!!!!!

As far as guarantees go, I’d like it if the NFL guarantee a decently reffed game. I think both teams’ fans could agree on this considering they each have been part of two of the worst late-game blown calls in playoff history (ironically both in favor of the 49ers).

If he plays like he has been playing, Aaron Rodgers will not play like he did the last time the Giants played them, when they were one poor clock management decision away from going to OT, where they easily could have won it.

That says very little considering who they played the last three weeks.

A young guy was put on the spot, and probably tripped over his own words. Of course, everyone on each team carries that attitude, so I don’t see how this would be “bulletin board material” for anyone on the Packers. If anyone’s superior play needs to be incited by trash talk at this point in the season, they obviously don’t know what they’re playing for.

He didn’t play football very long and didn’t go to a huge top tier football program, his family is off-the-boat Hatian and isolated from mainstream American culture, and he’s gone from nobody to superstar in the course of a 4 month season.

He still doesn’t even know the game at a high level let alone the off the field parts. He will learn both, he meant no disrespect to his opponents.
