The Steelers are a joke, and how they got to be the number 1 defense in the league is certainly a mystery, considering the beyond awful performance of their “vaunted” # 1 defense (lol). Do you think Tebow will throw for 300 yards against the second to WORST defense in the league? Not likely. The players on that defense will likely be MOTIVATED to play their best, not like the sedentary slackers on the #1 defense (lol).

I’ll bet the Steelers don’t even make the playoffs next year, and they won’t have a winning record. The jig is up.

You know there’s such a thing as highlights, right?

The only toss where there were a lot of the yards came after the catch was the final 80 yarder.

In that situation, they either had to give up the short-and-medium game to the top-ranked rushing offense, or stack the box with everyone they had left and hope the CBs could take care of the backfield.

They gambled, and chose not to adjust too much, but not due to poor planning. Gassed defensive line means you gotta plug in more bodies, leaving an open backfield.

Give credit where credit is due, nobody picked Tebow to throw so well, or Denver’s wideouts to be so physical after the catch.

After watching Tebow play for a while he is wildly unpredictable in his accuracy. Some passes are on, and some are way off. You have to force him to string together 5 and 10 yard passes. You are letting him off the hook if you let a WR get behind you. His odds of dropping a 50 yarder within reach of the WR and a 5 yarder are really about the same.

Um, yes it was. He’s been throwing it all year long. The Steelers just didn’t think he could do it to them. They stacked 9 guys in the box, played man on the outside with either 1 deep safety or none, and got burned again and again. It’s that simple.

They failed to adjust because they didn’t respect Tebow’s passing game.

What does that matter? Do you think Brees’ record stands for “yards in the air”? Tebow doesn’t have a different counting system for his performance.

What are you talking about! Steelers held Broncos to 3 points in second half. Big Ben started playing much better, must have taken a shot for his ankle. They gave up the big play way too often, which they didn’t do all season. Underestimated Tebow and should have made a simple adjustment of putting their safeties in deep middle of field, especially in OT when a TD ends game.

Tebow was 11-22-194 with 93 yds rushing in a week 14 loss to the Patriots . Thomas was 7-116 while working against a stacked secondary .. They essentially have the same numbers in regulation vs. Pitt and New England

when the 9ers had their big game to move past dallas in the mid 90s… steve young went 15 for 33. for a helluva lot of yards.

the objective is TO WIN. not just rack up star system stats.

 Not a Broncos fan, but Wes Welker and Jordy Nelson rack up quite a few of Brady’s and Rodgers’ passing yards with their legs as well.
