Greetings from Milford, Connecticut, where I’m preparing to spend a few hours this morning (three, to be precise) keeping Dan Patrick’s chair warm.
Dan’s in Louisiana for the NCAA national title game between LSU and Alabama, and I’ll be hanging out with his on-air crew to talk about a lot of football, and a little baseball.
The guest list currently includes Tony Dungy of Football Night in America, Pat Forde of Yahoo! Sports, Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, and Bob Costas.
You can listen to the show, which runs from 9:00 a.m. to noon ET, at DanPatrick.com or on one of more than 200 radio stations nationwide. The show also is televised on DirecTV’s Audience Network and a wide variety of regional networks.
Maybe Sam Francisco in San Francisco will call in with a look ahead to Saturday’s game between the Saints and 49ers — and with a complaint or two about Frank Gore.
And then tune in to PFT Live right here, where Rosenthal will be holding down the fort.

That’s Paul Allen time……..”let’s play!”
Talk about Tim Tebow.
Why is Dan Patrick at that game? ESPN is broadcasting the event so not only will he not be on air, he won’t even get a comp pass.
It must be just a chance for him to do some major league schmoozing. Then he can drop some names (his FAVORITE thing to do on that radio show) when he comes back.
Look forward to “When I was having a drink with Sandler in New Orleans this swimsuit model comes over and invites me to sit with her and her sister at the game the next night. Her sister turned out to be Bar Refaeli so I ended up watching the game with them in Tom Benson’s luxury suite.”
Tough seat to fill. DP has the best hair in the business
When you are the host, do the Dan-nettes become the Florettes?
No better place to be than Milford, CT. I’d love to live there-is Dan hiring?
