It’s nice that there is a link to a tweet rather than the source article where the comments can be read in some sort of context. The article itself has Raji heaping praise on Bradshaw and Jacobs.

Raji better be able to back it up. The Giants players better be able to back up thier smack talk too. It is a 2 way street. If anyone posting here thinks the players give a rats arse about talk, you are just trying to find something to grasp hold of. These guys are all professionals. They give it all they got every week. If you give 100%, it is all you can do. Isnt like someone saying “your O line is soft”, or “We are gonna win, I guarantee it” is going to make them play harder. Maximum effort is given, and that is all they have. Keep dreaming if you think somehow the Packers or Giants are going to rise up in some feat of magic to “show em”. It is a joke, and the mdian needs the fans to keep watching/reading all the garbage. There arent enough teams left in play to write about much else.

“But I’m sure the Giants o-line feels the same about Raji after his 1 tackle effort in the first game and the Giants 5.0 yard per rush average after struggling to run the entire season.

Jacobs 59 yards and Bradshaw 38 yards rushing and nine yards receiving, really taking it to the Packers who were missing both of their starting middle linebackers.

I think a person should be entitled to speak their mind, especially when they are egged on by the media. BJ Raji is nothing more than a good, honest person who tells it like he feels instead of hiding behind a diplomatic curtain. Players that put on the diplomatic act always saying stuff like this bunch is the best I have ever faced and god-willing we will be able to hang in there, make me want to throw up. BJ is a down to earth type of person who is who he is and the kind I would love to hang around with. I’m sick of the kiss asses who are hypocrites and two faced such as the moderators in this forum. Go ahead and ban my comment again. There are better sports forums out there besides yours.

Smart move giving the other team motivation. These players are so amazingly dumb they will never learn. Saying something like this doesnt scare the other team, it doesnt do anything but give them more motivation. For all the years I played through the semi-pro level never once did I talk like this. Stupid comments take your focus off the game, takes your time and energy and just flat adds to the other side’s motivation. Keep your mouth shut and do your talking on the field with your play, not your mouth.
