And only someone completely clueless would bother to take a closer look at why a team suddenly bucked their own trend against one of the teams in the league. Did the KC vs GB game expose who GB really is? Justin Smith, Patrick Willis (Remember that guy? Do the Saints have a guy who can play like him? The 9ers do. His name is Bowman.) and Ray MacDonald were nicked up the last few games. SF gets a bunch of ppl back on Sat that have been injured. NO does have some key injuries and have struggled in road games and in playoff games. We all can speculate and bloviate away like children do about who has the tougher dad but anything can happen. The 9ers should be well rested and hopefully they aren’t rusty. FTR, I don’t see NO going into GB should they beat SF and doing anything but losing. They just aren’t built for outside-cold weather-real grass-football. I think the Giants are probably the best hope for preventing GB from returning to the SB. However if the 9ers win then they can probably go to GB and stifle the Pack too. What better destiny could you ask for? The opportunity to conquer Breeze, Rodgers and then Brady is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Alex, this your chance to become legendary. Do it.

It’s the record for a single season. The Bears record is continued from a previous season I believe. Also the Rams were week 17 and scored 2 TDs. Lynch was the week before.

They actually tied the record for games without letting up a rushing TD with 15. Had Marshawn Lynch not scored week 17 and they would have made it the whole season without allowing one. The only other team to match their 15 games though was the ’85 Bears and they were pretty good ha.

This was truly an amazing statistic. Has that ever happened before? I can’t believe it didn’t get more hype nationally. To not give up a rushing touchdown in the NFL over 15 games is just crazy.

You mean, the same exact Rams that BEAT the Saints by putting up 31 points, limiting your offense to 21 points?

The 49ers were resting several of their All-Pro defensive starters in the 2nd half (14 of those points came after the Niners went up 3 scores.

But their last 2 times outdoors they haven’t put up more than 22 points and even lost to the Bucs. The same Bucs that lost to the 9ers 48-3 and lost their final 10 games.

Should be a great game featuring arguably the best offense against the best defense. If the Saints win, by all means talk all you want Saturday night, but until then, I’ll leave you with some advice my father told me about saying dumb things.
