You DO realize that the paper is the New York Post, right? It’s written in New York, by New Yorkers, and the readership is primarily people that live and work in New York. I would assume that is who the story is geared to.
Would it make more sense for the New York Post to focus on the Packers? No. How often do the Green Bay papers write stories about the Giants? Probably just when they play the Packers.
The world does not revolve around the Giants, but it doesn’t revolve around the Packers either. But their respective markets do.
