Look at the playoff game against the Jets last year. The Jets, a average team at best, shut down the system and won.

i happen to agree with the poster who called the pats org classless. when other teams run up the score, they are called out for it. the pats and brady, glorified for it. there was no reason for the starters to play after the 1st quarter much less in the 2nd half. i normally don’t want anyone hurt but it would have been poetic justice if one of the playmaker rolled an ankle and not be available next week, when you guys play a team that really belongs in the playoffs”

Yeah good call, the Pats should have sat their starters after the 1st quarter. In a divisional playoff game, when they haven’t won a playoff game in 4 years. Good idea, you should be a coach.

And I don’t know where you were during the 2007 season, but the Pats were killed by a lot of media outlets for running up the score.
If Denver didn’t like the Pats scoring touchdowns, they should have stopped them.

1.Tuck rule – not the Patriots who made that call, it was the refs, so scratch that from the list. 2. Gronk and steriods – you have some inside information here, because I haven’t heard a thing about that. 3. Running the score up? Really? The NFL doesn’t have a mercy rule. And it seems to me the Pats only scored 1 td after the half and were running the ball quite a bit…they could have hung 60 on the Broncos. 4. Steroids – again, what are you referring to? I haven’t seen any Pats players get suspended for that. 5. Taunting yeah, no other team in the league taunts or celebrates anything…..if your fav team doesn’t taunt, they must suck and have no reason to taunt.
