I don't know how you can say my statement is true, but then say it's a moronic statement. Doesn't matter if they can only play who's on their schedule. It was a dog schedule, regardless.

System qb: when you have PManning, Brees and Rogers, you build the system around them-and any system, because they will be successful. Brady-would be successful in only that system because he's not near as talented or skilled. Look at the Superbowl against the Giants. He had a chance for immortality and got beat by an ordinary Giants team. A Giants team, until this year, has made the playoffs once and still haven't won a playoff game. A Giants team that shut down the system. Let Welker catch it, but don't let him run around like a rodent after that. Take away the outside on Moss and force him in, he will disappear.

Brady successful on another team? No, I don't think he would be. Matt Cassel should be proof enough.

There's 10 qb's in the league that would have won those cheesey-last second field goal-Superbowls. Drew Bledsoe was always more talented. He just didn't have a coaching staff with a camera.

Other than nutjobs and a small number of Broncos fans looking for a savior, nobody gives a flying you-know-what about Tebow. He gave it his best shot and came up way short. Pittsburgh would have at least made it a game, but they took Denver and its high altitude for granted. Congratulations to the New England Patriots on a huge victory, and to the Denver Broncos for making it past Pittsburgh.

i happen to agree with the poster who called the pats org classless. when other teams run up the score, they are called out for it. the pats and brady, glorified for it. there was no reason for the starters to play after the 1st quarter much less in the 2nd half. i normally don’t want anyone hurt but it would have been poetic justice if one of the playmaker rolled an ankle and not be available next week, when you guys play a team that really belongs in the playoffs"

Yeah good call, the Pats should have sat their starters after the 1st quarter. In a divisional playoff game, when they haven't won a playoff game in 4 years. Good idea, you should be a coach.

And I don't know where you were during the 2007 season, but the Pats were killed by a lot of media outlets for running up the score.
If Denver didn't like the Pats scoring touchdowns, they should have stopped them.

If you want to see sensitivity towards the losing team, go watch 5-year-olds play t-ball, they have mercy-rules.

And as far as the comment: "i normally don’t want anyone hurt" is concerned, Get off your pedestal. You just openly wished for someone to get hurt stemming from obvious sour grapes over a loss. Get a life.

If I hear one more time how “classy” the Patriots and Robert Kraft are I am going to vomit. SpyGate, Steroids, Bellicheck the home wrecker, Gronk and his pornstars and obvious steroid usage, the tuck rule, running the score up, taunting, it’s too much.

If they win they win.. But please no more pumping their tires as a classy organization. They are scum.
---------------------------------------------------
Ok, lets see....
1.Tuck rule - not the Patriots who made that call, it was the refs, so scratch that from the list. 2. Gronk and steriods - you have some inside information here, because I haven't heard a thing about that. 3. Running the score up? Really? The NFL doesn't have a mercy rule. And it seems to me the Pats only scored 1 td after the half and were running the ball quite a bit...they could have hung 60 on the Broncos. 4. Steroids - again, what are you referring to? I haven't seen any Pats players get suspended for that. 5. Taunting yeah, no other team in the league taunts or celebrates anything.....if your fav team doesn't taunt, they must suck and have no reason to taunt.

Honestly, you need to stop watching NFL football if all these things are going to bother you.

Yeah real classless. NFL players get caught when they use steroids...they are tested a lot. Getting the tuck rule called on them makes them classless??? Well, so much for Denver’s defense or offensive line winning games for them.

It was Tebow and DeMaryius Thomas out there, alone, Everything else on the Denver side was GARBAGE. Nate Solder OWNED that overrated peice of crap Von Miller.

=================================
Dude! This is the type of comment that makes people hate Patritos fans. Yes we killed them..and yes....Solder has been playing great....but make no mistake; Bill would love to have a guy like Von Miller on the Patriot's D

Brady, Gronk, and ‘the stache’ got it done in a big way tonite. The defense played better than they have all year. If they can continue to play like this they will be almost impossible to beat. All I can say is wow.

==============================
I hope Bill can bring the Patriots back down to earth. Let them enjoy yesterday's win...but then focus on the AFC title game. It will probably be a little tougher than last night.

Hmmm…

Didn’t the Patriots have the 31st ranked defense?

The Patriots almost played like they new what offense and DEFENSE plays were going to be called by the Broncos. I wonder how that can happen?

Oh maybe, when you hire the person who drafted the Broncos QB and was the ex coach of team THE WEEK BEFORE YOU PLAY THEM.

Didn’t Jon Gruden and his players know what the Raiders were calling?

I know the sytems are different but there must be some similarities and tendencies.

If the Patriots can lay 40+ on the Ravens next week then I wil believe it. Until then….

They are scum.

i happen to agree with the poster who called the pats org classless. when other teams run up the score, they are called out for it. the pats and brady, glorified for it. there was no reason for the starters to play after the 1st quarter much less in the 2nd half. i normally don’t want anyone hurt but it would have been poetic justice if one of the playmaker rolled an ankle and not be available next week, when you guys play a team that really belongs in the playoffs

Such a stupid post!!

First they did play a team that belonged in the playoffs.
They played a team that won there div, they played a team that won a playoff game last week and they have NO control over who they play.

As for running up the score, take the pink hat off.
