Arian Foster leads Texans comeback

Divisional Playoffs - Houston Texans v Baltimore Ravens Getty Images

When the Ravens took an early 17-3 lead Sunday, it looked like we were headed for another AFC divisional round blowout.

Thankfully, Arian Foster and the Texans have fought back with a vengeance.

Houston has closed the gap to 17-13 late in the second quarter after some terrific playmaking by Foster. He has 124 yards rushing and receiving on the day. The Ravens have 79 yards combined as a team.

If not for some mental blunders by the Texans, Houston would be leading this game. They have controlled the line of scrimmage.

The Texans have been able to convert a few third and long plays. Ed Reed hasn’t made Texans quarterback T.J. Yates pay for a couple of loose plays.

This game looks a lot more like 49ers-Saints than Broncos-Patriots.  We hope it stays that way.

Flacco and Cameron are perfect for each other. Will never win a title with a multi-loser Cameron.

In watching the halftime show, all I can think about is… WOW… Boomer has an enormous head!
That is a truly awe-inspiring nugget.

    I can’t look away…

hm by this time in the game the patriots had more points than both these teams combined. should be a good game next week tho.

  12. bleed4philly says: Jan 15, 2012 2:44 PM

With Flacco putting up Tebow-like numbers, Texans got a chance. Stop the Rice and you stop the Ravens. Flacco is the Matt Ryan of the AFC.

  13. eddddddd says: Jan 15, 2012 2:45 PM

He’s making Ray Ray look old, fat and slow. Other than the cheap forearm shot to the head Lewis gave Daniels, has he had a tackle?

  14. njhitman says: Jan 15, 2012 2:45 PM

Ravens should be happy that their in this game thanks to the two BAD turnovers . But I can hear the Ravens fans saying thats part of the game but when other teams do it its called luck ect LETS GO TEX !!!!!!

“If not for some mental blunders by the Texans, Houston would be leading this game. They have controlled the line of scrimmage.”

If we are speaking in theoreticals, maybe we should discuss the three dropped INTs by Baltimore’s defense. Just saying. You can spin it either way.

In other news, Joe Flacco is a freaking stud of a quarterback. Just ask him, he’ll tell you all about himself.

What a freaking joke this guy is. “Look at me! Look at me! Oh wait! I still suck! On second thought: Look the other way! Look the other way!!”

    Just go away Joe.

And before you say it, I know he won his two Super Bowls this year in beating the Steelers. However, the crows are never going to win the February Super Bowl with this clown.

    GO STEELERS!

I hope the ravens lose for how they did my Steelers. Right now I’m very jealous! Like the commercial say: I had a bad day. Then the hometown Saints lost and LSU. All my teams were losers this year. Come on town knock Bmore out so the steelers will feel better

Why are Gumble and Dierdorf chuckling in amusement that Boldin slammed Allen’s head into the turf? He grabbed the helmet of a guy who was on the ground and bounced it off the turf. And the guys in the booth found it amusing.

  42. nflfollower says: Jan 15, 2012 4:10 PM

    Note to Joe Flacco…..

When the defense is playing lights out, has generated 4 turnovers, and the offense can’t put the game away to save their life—–not a lot of credit for that win goes to the QB. That’s just the way life goes, Joe. And please lose that stache, it’s nasty.

  43. pastabelly says: Jan 15, 2012 4:13 PM

No home team has lost a playoff game this year. That won’t change.
