I find it amazing. The ink has barely dried on the final score and now the scramble to jump off the Tebow bandwagon has begun.
Everyone was so eager to anoint him the BEST quarterback ever.
He is mediocre at bet. Please take a look at every pass he made that was beyond 10 yards. It wobbled like the ball was lopsided or shot out of a shotgun. He is not an accurate passer. His athleticism got him this far, but he will surely be a back-up by the end of next season. The talent in the NFL is way too good for the flaws not to show. Sorry Denver fans, but the search continues.

Once again the Tebow apologists continue to give him ALL of the credit when the Broncos win and absolve him of all blame when the Broncos lose. Can't have it both ways folks. It's a team sport. If Tebow is held responsible for motivating his team to victories then he's equally responsible for failing to do so when they falter. Let’s all get one thing straight. All these nut jobs who go crazy and will fight to the death for Timmy in this debate are TEBOW fans, not Broncos fans. These people would jump ship and root for whichever team he plays for. I’m sure they’re all Gators fans now too.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Over the years, this nut-job Tebow fan has watched:
The Drive, The Fumble (Jeremiah Castille), The Elway Helicopter play, 4th down John Mobley, Orson Mobley, Elway under guard, Bubby Brister destroys K.C. (at that Game), Champ 99-yards, Loss to the Jagwads, Michael Dean Perry's fat ass, TD 2008, Easy Ed's Broken Leg, Rod Smith beats the Redskins, Shannon Sharps 3rd down catch versus the steelers, Atwater vs Okoye, Elam 63 yarder. Steve Sewel's back flips, The Ed hochuli game and many game-winning field goals off Rich Karlis' bare foot.
So am I still not a real Broncos fan, hater? Seems like the real question is what kind of real Bronco fan turns his back on his team's playoff-winning quarter-back?

I love Tebow. I love him so much that I hope that every team the Lions play next year will play him at QB. Since he set professional offense back 50 years maybe the league will put in a “all time quarterback” rule, its about ratings anyway,right?

HILARIOUS! A Lions fan talking smack! When Stafford's arm falls off in training camp next year it's back to the cellar Detroit!

Disliking Tebow is not “God-hating”. It’s pretty easy to dislike him for getting too many chances thanks to the country-destroying evangelical Christians.

It’s also easy because he supports anti-gay groups. Such as the hypocritical Focus on Family, whose commercial merely showed that they can brainwash children."
================================================

Bingo. Well said. Everyone says Tebow is a good person, he associates with bigoted hate groups and extremist religious fundamentalists, and that alone should make people wary of him. To keep this football related, it will be interesting to see how he'll do next year with a full offseason under his belt. He certainly leads the team better (along with a great defense) than the other QBs. I was impressed with his escapability and being able to make plays.

Why the hate??? Either you love underdogs or you love to be right, to be the guy who knows and root for the favorites. I too know Football, but enjoy a good upset. Happy the Giants were able to beat the heavily favorite Packers, but 14 pts spread was maybe too much for the most humble player in Football. If Football is Enterntainment, Tebow was the best actor. If he wasn't a below average QB, then we would not remember this season in such great memories. Wow, what a season. Thanks Broncos, Thanks Tim.

Tebow will have to decide if he wants to be a passer or a body-builder. Upper-echelon quarterbacks are not cut-and-bulked-up in their arms and shoulders because it interferes with the smooth throwing motion required for depth and accuracy in quick plays on the field. It's Tebow's decision but if he chooses to be the best passer possible, he will need to give up the upper-torso weight-lifting, which is no easy thing for a dedicated athlete to do. If he does, though, he can accomplish anything he wants at the QB position because he obviously is willing to work [and suffer] for greatness.

So many people have it wrong…it’s not necessarily Tebow that is hated, it’s his moronic supporters (like the above comment). Just stop yourself….do you really think some mythical old-fart in the sky cares about football! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again….you people need to make up your mind on this fairytale stuff….when there’s a tragedy like an earthquake or tsunami, the response is always “well, god doesn’t micromanage”…..and yet he cares about football…..please

Sounds like a personal problem fueling all that God and Tebow hate. This life is temporary. Whether by earthquake or tsunami or you falling permanently to sleep warm and cozy in your bed, it ends. God has purposed a new existence minus the conflict and haters such as yourself. A world full of Tebows - I'm sure you would hate it. What does Tebow sing - "Our God is an awesome God. He reigns from heaven above." Whenever I need help it's just a prayer away. Foolish me. I enjoy football because I have 5 count em 5 NFL players in my family. As for Tebow still a starting QB in the NFL having played in 2 playoff games his 1st season starting and making at least $250 extra in cash that we know. Yeah God is awesome. Come join us and stop sucking on lemons!!

galbertkun said;
I believe the last article on pft said that Tebow “earned” the right to start next season… False. You are entitled to nothing in the NFL off name alone. There should be an open QB competition between Tebow and Brady Quinn.

----------------------------------------------------------

FAIL! I believe Matt Cassel is still waiting for that "open Qb competition" that he earned from the Patriots. At least he tricked the Chiefs into giving him all that money!

P.S. Brady Quinn really sucks!

lucimorland says:
Jan 15, 2012 5:22 AM
Tebow has two of the best young tackles in the game. This crap about his line sucking is just that — crap.

He had no time to throw because the Pats game plan was to put 9 men in there and make Tebow throw the ball. They were stopping the run and flooding Tebow with attackers.

Because Tebow fails at throwing the ball, the defense was able to get in his face all game long…and there wasn’t a damn thing Timmy could do about it
---------
so which one on the offensive line is a relative of yours?

I agree 100% that Tebow has been woefully inconsistent. However, you failed to mention a few pertinent facts. First, the team went 1-4 without him as the starter, and 8-5 (including the playoffs) with him as the starter. Fans come to the park to see a winning team. Secondly, Tim Tebow is a fan favorite. Again, fans fill the park when he is starting. And last, his quarterback rating for the playoffs averaged out to 87.5, and if compared to the season totals of AFC quarterbacks, that would put him, hmmmm... in the top five. Not too bad for his first year as a starter. Give him a chance to get through a preseason as the starter and then a few games next year. If he doesn't start to perform more consistently, then think about replacing him... if you can afford the drop in ticket sales!
