I find it amazing. The ink has barely dried on the final score and now the scramble to jump off the Tebow bandwagon has begun.
Everyone was so eager to anoint him the BEST quarterback ever.
He is mediocre at bet. Please take a look at every pass he made that was beyond 10 yards. It wobbled like the ball was lopsided or shot out of a shotgun. He is not an accurate passer. His athleticism got him this far, but he will surely be a back-up by the end of next season. The talent in the NFL is way too good for the flaws not to show. Sorry Denver fans, but the search continues.

Steve Sewel’s back flips, The Ed hochuli game and many game-winning field goals off Rich Karlis’ bare foot.
So am I still not a real Broncos fan, hater? Seems like the real question is what kind of real Bronco fan turns his back on his team’s playoff-winning quarter-back?

Bingo. Well said. Everyone says Tebow is a good person, he associates with bigoted hate groups and extremist religious fundamentalists, and that alone should make people wary of him. To keep this football related, it will be interesting to see how he’ll do next year with a full offseason under his belt. He certainly leads the team better (along with a great defense) than the other QBs. I was impressed with his escapability and being able to make plays.

Why the hate??? Either you love underdogs or you love to be right, to be the guy who knows and root for the favorites. I too know Football, but enjoy a good upset. Happy the Giants were able to beat the heavily favorite Packers, but 14 pts spread was maybe too much for the most humble player in Football. If Football is Enterntainment, Tebow was the best actor. If he wasn’t a below average QB, then we would not remember this season in such great memories. Wow, what a season. Thanks Broncos, Thanks Tim.

Tebow will have to decide if he wants to be a passer or a body-builder. Upper-echelon quarterbacks are not cut-and-bulked-up in their arms and shoulders because it interferes with the smooth throwing motion required for depth and accuracy in quick plays on the field. It’s Tebow’s decision but if he chooses to be the best passer possible, he will need to give up the upper-torso weight-lifting, which is no easy thing for a dedicated athlete to do. If he does, though, he can accomplish anything he wants at the QB position because he obviously is willing to work [and suffer] for greatness.

As for Tebow still a starting QB in the NFL having played in 2 playoff games his 1st season starting and making at least $250 extra in cash that we know. Yeah God is awesome. I agree 100% that Tebow has been woefully inconsistent. However, you failed to mention a few pertinent facts. First, the team went 1-4 without him as the starter, and 8-5 (including the playoffs) with him as the starter. Fans come to the park to see a winning team. Secondly, Tim Tebow is a fan favorite. Again, fans fill the park when he is starting. And last, his quarterback rating for the playoffs averaged out to 87.5, and if compared to the season totals of AFC quarterbacks, that would put him, hmmmm… in the top five. Not too bad for his first year as a starter. Give him a chance to get through a preseason as the starter and then a few games next year. If he doesn’t start to perform more consistently, then think about replacing him… if you can afford the drop in ticket sales!
