Getty ImagesFlorio mentioned that the Bucs will take their time while they continue to look far and wide for their next head coach. It looks like interviews will take place through the end of this week, at the very least.
The latest candidate to emerge: Packers quarterbacks coach Tom Clements. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Clements will meet with the Bucs later this week.
Tampa also requested permission to meet with offensive coordinator Joe Philbin, although it’s not clear if he’ll meet with the team.
Mike Sherman, Marty Schottenheimer, Brad Childress, and Mike Zimmer have also interviewed or will interview with the Bucs.

This might be the best guy the Bucs can get. They better not mess this up.
him and mccarthy made rodgers who he is today, let the mccarthy tree flourish
hope they go with the best option and not the cheapest option. this team has alot of young talent and alot of a cap room
.
Cut to the chase …..just hire NFL coaching promoter, Peter King. He’ll get you a coach from his agent’s list of the unenployed.

Interview? Yes! Hire? Only if they provide the resources. Should Clements consider a Bucs HC job? Only, if he has sufficient support and latitude to run HIS plan, hire HIS people, teach HIS way and is sure the owners commit to whatever it takes to achieve success. Tom Clements is ready.
They’re not hiring Lombardi. A QB coach, possibly being offered his first HC job, is not going to get total control. Your post reads like you’re his agent.
remember dieter brock from the 85 rams?!?
Offensive coordinator wouldn’t be a bad idea either…
Which Glazer is in charge?
I hope for Bucs fans this doesn’t turn out like the Jim Zorn experiment
Not so sure i see them hiring Clements as a flat out HC (considering the Morris experiment) but i wouldn’t be against having him as an OC…
