I like Eli but I didn’t think he was a top 5 guy before this past season. He had a fantastic year this year no doubt. I don’t think anyone who thought he wasn’t up there before THIS year were off base.
He has pretty much always been more clutch than his bro, though. and he has a better personality…by far. He’s laid back and can handle NY media, his big fish in a small pond brother couldn’t. Hence, why it will never happen and why he can joke about it.

Maybe Peyton wants to move to New York so he can be a full time member on Saturday Night Live. He certainly won’t be playing football in town other than some celebrity flag football in Central Park.

Look up Bert Jones. He and Peyton have something else in common other than being a Colt QB.

The reality is that only Dan Snyder will overpay for a potentially washed-up guy. The Skins need a decent QB because everybody else in the East has one (I know the Dallas guy is open for debate.) The Eagles were horrible and were still 5 – 1 in the division. The G-Men could win it all. The Skins have litlle hope with their current QB’s. Snyder will react and Peyton will take the check.

Eli has proved allot to me this year. The year that he won the superbowl looked a little flukey especially after watching him the past few years. But this year he put the team on his back. So much determination tho…. But Stafford deserved that pro bowl spot over eli sorry. Matts gonna be a beast next year and for years to come, and he’s only 23!!!

Its laughable to think the Manning would be willing to play for the Jets and their train wreck of a coach. Why would he want any part of that debacle ?

Better to retire and enjoy the rest of his life and his many millions than risk getting injured for what he’d get by being a Jet.

I like Eli showing a little personality and saying something interesting. Even though I’m a Giants fan I know I’d be sick of the story in about two minutes if Peyton comes to NY. It would be Tebow coverage on steroids.

I don’t understand why the Colts getting Andrew Luck means the end of Peyton Manning in Indy. Why not let Luck be a backup for two years and take advantage of the luxury of time? Most teams who draft a QB in the 1st round need him to start straight away, the Colts don’t.

I’ve always thought the Giant fans got screwed with Acorsi picking Eli and giving up Rivers or Rothlesburger and all those picks.

We’ll never know, but one thing about Eli that you can never take away from him is his determination to be the best he can be for his team, Fans and the game its self.

Bottom line is, With diligence and hard work He’s self improved every facet of his game. That includes accuracy, arm strength, vision, es-capability, and foot speed(better, but still a work in progress)

the NFL has a really short list of active Superbowl winning QB,s that are as humble and as good as Eli.

This is such an absurd non-story. Peyton playing for the Jets is hardly a realistic situation, and unless it were to become likely I don’t understand why the media keeps bringing it up, either indirectly or otherwise. Why is it so hard to wait discussing where Peyton plays until Jim Irsay decides on whether he’s going to keep him on the Colts?
