Flacco did a 115 last year vs. KC, and a 61 vs. the Steelers. (This is right off pro football reference.) He did a 97 last week. Again, you are CHANGING FACTS to support Flacco — and you’ve been busted.

And c’mon, that 97 rating last week? Jeez, he was handed the ball on the TWO-YARD-LINE for one of those TD “drives.” C’mon man! The other TD, which pumped up his rating, was off another turnover, he never generated a single TD drive.

Flacco’s last two years — last year he had a big game vs. KC (just as the whole team did). He disappeared for the game against the Steelers. This year — he disappeared against the Texans. You Ravens fans going all wild over people talking about him are hilarious! What has he done to deserve any praise?

Look, if Flacco goes out tomorrow and has a 21-for-30 300-yard game, then he’ll get some props. But another 176-yard Flacco special won’t cut it. If even the Ravens win, and it’s clear they depended on Rice again, the Flacco talk will continue. Sorry Ravens fans.

Read my post again — I merely said his career rating was nowhere near what you cherry-picked to put the best positive spin on his numbers. I look at his playoff performance as a whole, not break it down conveniently like you and your other Ravens buddy did (to try and trash Ben, which is dumb). His career rating is HALF of the 132 rating you posted — meaning overall he’s been pretty awful.

Flacco’s been so-so during the regular season, and a non-factor during playoff games. He’s the definition of “mediocre to poor.”

Your post makes no sense… I’m not changing any numbers, I’m saying he has gotten better every year. The numbers I used were from the most recent games….. ALL of the games in the previous two years. I’m guessing that in a few years TJ Yates numbers will be much better than they are right now.

I would say it is a good idea that you take another look at Flacco’s playoff numbers after Sunday….

Yeah but more of Ben’s playoff games went like this:

Super Bowl XLIII: 21 of 30 for 256 and 93.2 plus leading one of the greatest comeback drives ever

But nice job cherry-picking his worst stats — by the way he was putting up 125 and 145 rating games in the playoffs on the way to Super XL.

Thing is, his rating goes UP in the playoffs, unlike your boy Flacco, who shrinks like a little flower.

Flacco is a legit franchise QB. Do I think he’s on the level of Brady, Brees, or Rodgers? No, but from him to take on all this criticism, is unjust. All this while Alex Smith gets a pass for the last 4 years or whatever. It’s a joke.

Alex Smith got no pass — he was a joke up until last week. Then he did something in a playoff game, not just lead 2-yard TD drives off gift muffed punts. But I guess you actually being there at the stadium gave you a better view of what happened somehow. So tell me, Mr. Greatview, how many drives did Flacco lead for scores, that weren’t handed to him by turnovers? What did he generate on his own?

As for your “legit franchise” do me a favor — don’t take my word for it. Go compare his regular season numbers against his playoff numbers. Tell me what you see — if you can stand the horror of it.

On top of that, the NFL has passed his OC, Cam Cameron by.

Flacco is in trouble no matter what happens. If they win, it is in spite of him. If they lose it is because of him. Of course, it is deeper than that but that’s the way it is spun.

That’s the life of an NFL QB. The only way to avoid that kind of scrutiny is to rise above it and win championships. Flacco hasn’t done that yet.

Flacco put up a 97 QBR, on top of about 4 or 5 inexcusable drops by the receivers that would only add about 40-70yds and possibly another TD. Not to mention, Flacco had literally no time to get rid of the ball. Don’t mind the fact that this was all while playing against the 2nd ranked defense, that means nothing.

Franchise QBs like Roethlisberger and Brady carry their teams even when their run games don’t support them. Witness Ben’s playoff run a few years ago when he was putting up 125 rating games while Bettis and Parker disappeared.

Average Joe on the other does fine when Rice is racking up 100 yards. Stop Rice, and what you see is what you saw last Sunday. Is this really so hard to figure out? Until Flacco comes through without Rice breaking off long runs, nobody but Ravens fans will be “eating crow.”

There’s gonna be a hefty serving of crow come Sunday evening, for Brady, the Patriot fans, and ALL the media.

I’m wondering if Flacco gets to analyze the 4 to 6 TD’s Brady is going to have this Sunday.
