Getty ImagesThere appears to be a stomach bug passing among the Giants players as they prepare for the NFC Championship Game.
Eli Manning had to leave practice on Wednesday because of a little intestinal distress and center David Baas couldn’t practice on Friday for the same reason. He’s listed as probable for Sunday’s game, which makes it seem like the bug spreading is a bigger fear than any impact it might have on Baas’ play.
Of more concern is tight end Jake Ballard. Ballard is listed as questionable for Sunday with a knee injury and Tom Coughlin told reporters that Ballard had a procedure on the knee Thursday. Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger reports that the procedure wasn’t surgery. Ballard missed the final two games of the regular season with a knee sprain and he has not looked 100 percent in either of the team’s first two playoff games.

Kind of a bass ackwards way to spread germs- QB to center.
Whenever a QB and Center share diseases its cause for alarm. Wash your hands, kids.

The irrelevent team 17
In other news, Eli Manning has officially asked Coughlin to run all plays from the shotgun formation.
Id be sick to my stomach too if i were facing the niners defense.

The Niners D that gave up 400+ passing yards and two gigantic scoring plays in the last four minutes of the game while holding a lead?
Ballard is the slowest TE ever.
Gmen are in trouble, health-wise. Not good.
It’s the Jets fault.
Anyone who takes pride for being obnoxious by way of their “handle” probably isn’t too bright.
You want me to put my hands where.. Do you know how many germs are there
East cost team play on the West coast or vice versa almost always spells trouble for the visitor.
Are they taking two planes, one for those puking and other for those healthy? If not, the virus will spread on the plane and the Giants will be Gang Green in the face.

Plus blowing a 17-0 lead and forcing five (5) count ‘em five (5) turnovers and still had to come down to a last second TD.
The rain levels this game. Throw past games out the window. This game will be decided in the trenches. A good ol’ NFC battle. Let’s Go Blue!
watch out Eli, you could get pinkeye.
So what, all the Giants are rolling into town with the runs? This will be the first NFL game I have seen with a porta-potty on the sidelines and a line longer than what the fans go through while tailgating.
I’m actually disappointed in the 9er fans here. You have a golden opportunity to poke fun. How else can a QB transmit a disease to a player that is hunched over in prone position that he is standing directly behind?? You’ve been sooooo creative with such gems as, “Giants fans are subhuman and should be exterminated”, I could have sworn you would have taken this ally-oop of a thread and slammed it home.
