Harbaugh’s class-less anti-handshake with Coughlin after the game was a dandy. They should just do away with it after the final whistle…sooner or later, one of these coaches is going to knock the other one in the mouth….and I’m hoping Schwartz and Harbaugh are the first 2 to get socked.

If a man is destroyed, he’s completely gone – obliterated – and therefore has no future or hope. Shouldn’t the quote be “A man can be defeated but he can’t be destroyed as long as…”? I mean, you can lose a battle but go on to fight another day so long as you haven’t been destroyed. Methinks Harbaugh memorized that quote earlier in the day in case of a loss, and then screwed it up when it came time to ape it.

I thought it was brain-friend nonsense by Harbaugh when I heard that on ESPN postgame, but whatever. He’s fishing for things to say, but that classless jerk is so fixated upon making excuses as to why they lost instead of realizing the Giants are just a better team. And only in a backhanded manner did he emote such.

I hate the fact a NY team won, the media there will act like this is one of the greatest teams ever and Eli (a good QB) is one of the greatest of all times, Victor Cruz is the greatest, etc, etc.

I remember the same garbage when my Houston Rockets defeated the NY Knicks in the 90s. The NY media was salivating to declare Ewing of the best ever.

Unless the Patriots somehow force turnovers and find a running game (Green-Ellis is a bum), I don’t see how your hater-based wishes will occur. And as far as what he really meant? Yes they are. They’re going to let almost all those free agents go, and Alex Smith will go right back to suckitude if they decide to actually be stupid enough and re-sign him.
