APPatriots starting cornerback Kyle Arrington is hurt, and his absence has shown up right away in the Patriots secondary.
Arrington’s replacement Sterling Moore missed a tackle that led directly to a 29-yard touchdown by Torrey Smith. The Ravens lead 17-16 late in the third quarter.
The Patriots are using guys like Moore, Antuan Molden, and Julian Edelman in their secondary. Joe Flacco has played terrific, constantly converting third downs into tight windows.
New England has settled for field goals too often, and it has set up a fun end to this game.

17-16 lead for Ravens
can Flacco stick the dagger or we’ll they settle for a FG?
Woodhead should change his last name to….Bonehead!
Shocking, Flacco opts for difficult TD pass when Vonta Leach completely free for easy TD. FG only
Arrington went out with an eye injury. Why guys don’t wear eye shields is beyond me.
I guess grabbing a DB and dragging him by his facemask out of bounds with you is not a penalty.
I wonder how the PATS are going to cheat there way out of this one?
Just can’t give the Ravens and Flacco any credit can you?
Let’s go Ravens. Bills fan her pulling for you.
Yo Ray, you’re getting your 20 carries. Do something! 2 yards a pop isn’t getting it done.
Not for long, Pretty boy Tom will lead tehm to a victory in the end, its already a done deal these games are fixed. 30-27 Patriots
Definitely a closer game than I thought it would be. I’ll give Flacco credit, he’s not sucking today.
Too many blown calls though.
Way too many, including that touchdown where he went out of bounds – while facemasking.
Flacco prolly just lost the game there
Win or not now, the fact is Flacco threw the game-losing pick… he just got bailed out once again by his defense. No wonder Reed called him out — his shoulders must get tired carrying this guy.
Soooo, the Ravens can’t make a 50 yard field goal? Really? Super weak.
The Baltimore Ravens will never never never never never never never never NEVER go the Super Bowl with Joe Flacco as their QB.
