There are actually more Steeler fans on here complaining / gloating / trolling than Ravens fans. Pathetic.

Henceforth, I’m rooting for the Ravens in the AFC North (though I don’t want the Pats to play them again… prefer easy wins in the playoffs against the STEELERS.)

Not blaming PFT. Not one little bit. The sore losers gripe. EVERY fan base has them. And I have seen them on here. EVERY fan base has them!

Proud Ravens fan here. We LOST. Time to move on. The officials did not lose the game. We did. Yes it stings. But my head is high because I know we had our chances. Telling it like it is…we blew our chances at the end.

Ravens’ fans complain no more about bad calls than any other group I read in here. And I love all the patriots smack talk about such a bunch of bums the Ravens are. All the blowout comments from last week are just too funny now. And in the end, I know how you all were sweating it out at the very end. You all got a great break that Cundiff missed that kick. You know it. I know it. The world knows it. Doesn’t mean you don’t deserve the win…because you do. But we let you off the hook.

Best of luck to the remaining teams. Great year Ravens! Very proud of you!

This is what frustrates me about PFT….

I live in Baltimore, watched the game with about 20 ravens fans, read articles on several Baltimore media sites and the Ravens official website after the game. Did not see ONE other media outlet that made this an issue or even brought it up. Not to mention nobody I spoke to mentioned it. All the talk is Lee Evans and Billy Cundiff, no mention of this play at all. Until 5 minutes ago I didn’t even know this happened. But because PFT wants to write about it now Ravens fans look like crying whiney bitter losers.

Laces were out. Thought I was watching FSU and Miami all over again. WIDE LEFT!!! Sad. Dropped winning TD in the end zone and missed FG to tie.

As a football fan, both AFC and NFC champ games were great games to watch. It would be awesome to see the Superbowl go to OT.

Remember when Suh did the same thing after blocking Janikowskis kick and everybody was saying how it should have been a penalty. There was even an article on here about it, and that article didn’t mention how it wouldn’t have changed the outcome of the game at all. Funny how the media leaves facts out on similar stories to continue to make a guy look like he is doing something wrong…..

to all the jerks on here especially the stairwayto7 jerk. ive been every website in balti and i havent heard anybody ask about or whine about this. it just shows that it takes a made up story to bring the jerk out in people. we got beat. we are staying classy. we know we have some problems (ie harbaugh and cameron) but nobody is blaming anybody but our own. so go back in your holes until next year when you can jump back on more made up stories. hopefully next year the steelers can get some better players so we can actually have some competitive games with them. we were hoping they could have gotten to n.e. and beaten them so we could have crushed them yesterday but they couldnt hold up their end of the bargain losing to an h-back masquerading as a quarterback!

As a Patriots fan, I’m glad the Patriots won. But it feels more like the Ravens lost the game as opposed to the Patriots winning it. We Patriots fans are spoiled by seeing Tom Brady, Gronkowski, Welker, and Hernandez beating opponents into oblivion. That wasn’t happening yesterday. If it doesn’t happen in two weeks, the Pats will surely lose.

The subject here is a huge reach for Ravens’ fans, no excuse for Cundiff missing that kick. What I’m curious about is why the Lee Evans potential TD wasn’t even reviewed in a game of this magnitude. I seem to remember a Texans pass getting reviewed last week within the last two minutes when they were driving for a potential tying score, so what was the difference here? The difference was all of the house money riding on the Patriots, and I knew that was the difference in the 2nd when Pollard intercepted Brady but the play was called back for illegal contact on Webb as he was backpedaling and his receiver he was covering plowedinto HIM as he broke off his route. The game is done and Patriots made enough plays to win, but its obvious who Vegas wanted to win, with the refs and Cundiff on their side, how could they lose? Go Giants!

Lost in all of this is Harbaugh’s call at the beginning of the game to kick a field goal on 4th and inches at the goal line, down by 3. That sent a message to your team, and it wasn’t a good one.

He coached scared, and the game was obviously too big for him, given his multiple mistakes.

Just another example of how the refs seem to miss and forget some of the rules when it comes to their baby Tom Brady and the cheating patriots. Evans did not “drop” the ball it was knocked out of his hands !!!! Stop making it seem like he was all alone in the endzone and just dropped it. Give the guy a break that play happens all the time. Should he have caught it, YES. But he didn’t drop it.

I’ll preface by saying I’m not a Ravens’ fan but as was mentioned in another article, why didn’t Harbaugh call a time out instead of hurrying Cundiff on the field?

The kick is stressful enough knowing that if he makes it, it’ll bring them one step closer to possibly going to the Super Bowl.

Hindsight is always 20-20 but everyone knows that nothing is a given in the game of football.

Good coaches prepare their players in the best way possible and in this case, it didn’t happen.
