Plus, the Romo comment is still wrong. That’s not how Jerry said it. He said Eli made a difference for his team. He was playing dismally earlier in the year, but the rest of the team wasn’t much better. The question wasn’t even who was better, Romo/Eli. It was what was different about the Giants team from the middle to the end of the year.

Actually Jerry, Eli Manning is NOT the biggest difference between the Giants and the Cowboys

The biggest difference is that the Giants have like 5 or 6 D-Lineman that can get to the quarterback on any given play

It’s like having 4 Demarcus Ware’s on your team (speaking of the Giants DE’s) against the Cowboys 1 Demarcus Ware

Also another big difference is that the Giants actually signed Canty when they had a chance

I know SF has arguably the best LBs in the league, but the Cowboy’s LBs aren’t their problem. 2/3′s of the league would love to have Ware, Carter and Lee in their core. Brooking needs to go but the rest are still young and great young players. Jones’ needs to find a GM that can build a secondary, their pass rush and linebacking core is just fine.

Ryan Pinkston once asked Denise Richards what it was like to play someone smart (when she played Chrismas Jones) in The World is Not Enough.

The only way Jerrah will get to be smart is if HE plays someone smart in a movie. He can dream about and pop boners for every better player on every other team but it’s not going to change the fact that he is as much a GM of a professional football team as Al Pacino was a football coach in Any Given Sunday. Any player worth a crap who values winning ought to know not to sign with Dallas. Herschel Walker isn’t getting traded again and Dallas isn’t going to be winning anytime soon.

He is an inside linebacker. The 49ers run a 3-4, which means Bowman and Willis are both inside backers. He and Willis are both in the top 5 when it comes to MLB’s according to the associated press, who placed both on the all pro team.

Lucky for Jerry, Larry Grant is available. Grant is the backup MLB on San Fran, and when Willis missed 4 games the defense didn’t skip a beat. If I remember correctly, it was Grant who forced a fumble to save the day in the 2nd Seattle game. If Jones is serious, he should definitly go after Grant in free agency, the dude deserves to start but he’s stuck behind two studs in Willis and Bowman.

just may b old stone face (jerry) is sending out messages on what the cowboys might b looking 4 in the upcoming draft qb-lb. Nah since stone face is the gm he will stick with romo @ qb (stone face loves some romo),and whoever he has @ lb. If jerry was 2 draft a qb an lb’s in the 1st 3rds, i would b shock. Andrew Luck/RG3, Tannehill will be gone by the time stone face drafts @ #14 lol. by the way barkley decided 2 go back 2 USC. Good luck jerry in trying to find a qb like eli or lb’s like willis an bowman. the cowboys will continue to be the laughning stock of the nfl as long as this clown runs the franchise into the ground. Maybe jerry wants to make a bid on peyton manning since he will b available.

What is so funny to me about JJ’s comments is that he chose to trade up to select Lee with 55th pick of the 2010 draft when he could have had Bowman 35 picks later. On the Cowboys draft board in their war room they had a 1st round grade for Bowman, but decided to choose his college teammate 35 picks earlier and trading up to do it. If Jerry thought Bowman had a 1st round grade, then why would he trade up in the draft to select someone else while Bowman was still available. I think he got it right when grading Bowman as a 1st round type player, but he obviously blew it when not selecting him instead of Lee. Lee might be a good LB, but he is not better than Bowman. Jerry only has himself to blame for the players he has on his roster.

I can recall when the photo of Dallas’ 2010 draft board slipped out and the Cowboys had Lee well above Bowman . . . oops.
