This is almost as bad of a move as it was electing George Bush to a 2nd term…By 2015 the NFL will become the NFFL…National Flag Football League and you will be fined for causing damage to a flag if you pull it too hard..Jeez this is horrible!

Yes – unless the fans speak with their wallets, nothing is going to change. America is addicted to football which is why the owners are laughing all the way to the bank.

It’s going to be a huge challenge for the fans to wean themselves off the NFL and actually hit the owners where it hurts them – sadly.

In short – yes you have a point, but that doesnt make the owners and Goodell right.

As long as the rules comittee can find a solution to some of these “judgment” calls that are ruining the game i do not care who the commish is. and all these arguments that goddell has made the nfl bigger every year are dumb, i am pretty sure you could through hellen keller in the mix as the commish and the league would grow just as much. first order of business this off season needs to be fire the ref that blew that early whistle when bradshaw FUMBLED against the 9ers. as a matter of fact i think the entire “1 whistle from 1 of 1000 refs on the field” to blow the play dead on the field needs to be over with. 49ers got screwed!!! Goodell is good for this job. All you trolls that say he’s going to kill the NFL are just stupid. It’s not like he alone has the power to protect the league from lawsuits over injuries. It’s not his fault that the world we live in is “sue happy” and there turns out to be long term effects to playing in this league. The league has to evolve and Goodell is doing just fine. All you idiots called to Tag’s head before and now want him back will do the same after Goodell steps down later on and the new guy comes in and “kills the NFL”.

I used to dislike Roger, mainly because of his inconsistency with player suspensions but I think he handled the lock out rather well. I think the extension is a good thing
