This is the funniest thing I have read in a long time. Billick was a terrible OC. He had success because he was running an offense with a rejuvinated R. Cunningham and Randy Moss in his prime. His performance here proved he is NOT an “offensive guru”

The one I keep getting flack for, is the suggestion that we let Cam go and bring in Billick as the O-coord. There would be no backlash from Billicks former team since there are only about 5 players left from his last year, and he was an unbelievable OC prior to becoming the Ravens HC. I honestly think it would help him get his name back out there (since he won’t see a HC spot open up for him) and possibly bring in a fresh perspective for the O. Definitely someone who could help Joe grow.

Strange, I would think the Ravens would be hiring a quarterback “consultant”.

Looking good, Balto, real good. You might be better off hiring Kirk Cameron.

I think it would be a mistake to get rid of this guy just because the PLAYERS on offense came up small in the playoffs. Although, I must admit it that it would be funny/interesting to see who the organization chooses to scapegoat in Cam Cameron’s absence.

2) Cameron lost the game by not running the ball with 6 minutes left when the Pats were beat, Flacco should never get a pass play in that situation, that INT lost the game

3) Cameron lost the game by not securing home playoff, how…by throwing the ball 52 times against the seahawks

4) Harbaugh needs more control of the offense, its clear his special teams skills suck, maybe he should not come back…any coach would have called a time out, its not icing your own kicker, they needed the time out

The problem is, a lot of Baltimore fans just want to read about lollipops and rainbows, so whenever Preston writes something with a tinge of negativity, those fans lose their minds and bash him.

This is ridiculous…there are much better offensive minds out there CC. Did he miss the field goal or drop the pass?No…but you miss the point. The way our offense was playing (and this applies to a lot of games over the past few years),we should never be in that spot. His play-calling is stale, simple, predictable, inflexible and downright laughable at times…..which is why numerous analysts have said his offense is like one out of the 60s…..

It’s amazing how all these Squealer fans are so preoccupied with the Ravens and how they run their offense. It’s like they are so afriad that someday, we might have an explosive offense while they continue to toil in mediocrity. Just as an FYI,the Squealers would have been 7-9 this year (as every year) if they didn’t have Big Ben. He IS that team and when he is gone….Sqealers are in trouble!

Cameron’s playcalling can be boring, yes. But everyone loves to judge with the benefit of hindsight. He wouldn’t call a play if he didn’t believe it would work. I trust him over internet trolls(no offense), and if every offensive player executes, every play on the field would work.

A QB coach is a great idea. Flacco’s best year was when he had Zorn to help him. He’s still on the right track. It will be interesting to see who they bring in. There are some intriguing candidates out there.

Maybe it’s more because of Lewis, Reed, Ngata, Suggs etc…..

Joe had nothing to do with Pagano. That is just silly. And as far as Pagano and Harbs, that is a heat of the moment thing. Harbs and Pagano are fine. Trust me. The insider sites say zippo about this.

As far as Cam Cameron…Flacco’s up and down year had less to do with Cam than it had to with the shortened offseason, rookie wideout’s, 2nd year tight ends, and an offensive line that you all saw get manhandled in the playoffs. The fact he didn’t throw more picks than 12 is amazing. I’m not a Cam Cameron fan, but he’s not missing blocks, cutting the wrong way, (RAY RICE), or dropping passes. We do have to open the offense up more though, because whenever Joe gets to do that, he lights up the scoreboard. We’ll see.
