If he plays to 38 yrs old, which is feasible, that is a 10 year career – not bad at all. Also, since he was playing baseball, a little less wear and tear on his body. I think he is a good prospect.

At 28 he SHOULD be the best QB out there! Heck..he’s been watching and playing football at least 7 years longer than the rest of them!

If ur 28 and cant outshine college kids then…look no further than former Panther Chris Weinke…hello!? Trust, we watched him here closely

Its like when u wish u could “go back in time” knowing what u know now…thats all this is. He’s studied the game longer than the other kids so should have an advantage. His advantage will be taken away when he plays against other GROWN MEN..watch

I really do not understand what is the difference in his age and Matt Flynn? They are the same age, and if and only if, Flynn will know the system in Miami and that is it. I would pick him in the second or third round if I was the Redskins.

Well on the other hand wouldn’t he be hitting his prime at the end of his rookie contract??? I think at some point the NFL needs to get off this age/height deal with QB’s, I mean couldn’t you also say Weeden’s development is still untapped due to the years he dedicated to baseball? He could be the bazzaro Weinke…
