  1. All year we hear about how Green Bay is the most talented team, and now there’s an article on Woodson’s opinion about upgrading the personnel.

In the article, he says “my feeling is that they just wanted it more than we did”

So, which is it Charles? personnel or desire?

It’s funny how one game can change everyone’s perspective of a team, even from within.

  2. Woodson says they need new personnal…does that mean you better step it up a little or on the way down the road. In watching his play he has lost a step as he has been beaten many times this year for TD’s….just look at the Hail Mary…what were you doing behind the receiver as there were other times during that game.

  3. Said Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall of his big Pro Bowl performance, “Quarterbacks make it easier for me. These guys are putting it in the right places and I’m making plays. It’s easy right now.”

Because you went 100% and everybody else was only going at about 50%.

  4. I know the pro bowl is a complete joke, but really cam Newton…. Three ints with no pass rush? It’s not like he really deserved to be there anyways and he definitely showed us why. I didn’t even watch the game after I saw that lame-o pass rush early on in the game but when I read cams stats I got to laugh a little.

  5. The only thing better than Brandon Marshall’s catches was his interviews. He came across as a very humble young man with a great attitude and appreciation for his NFL opportunities. Kudos to him.

  6. @Deb,
He did have a decent attitude overall but some Dolphins fans are fed up with his attitude. He has thrown Henne and Moore under the bus many times. This year Marshall DROPPED no less than 6-7 easily catchable TD passes and had a few more drive killing drops on 3rd down. Those were in close games and if he would have caught just half of those, a reasonable argument could be made that the Dolphins could have been in the playoffs.

Marshall was going at 100% last night while the defense obviously was not. He was showcasing his abilities because he knows there is a very real possibility he will be on the trade block shortly.

He is a very good receiver and has a high ceiling on the field (off field issues are ever-present) and I would have little problem with him if he performed under pressure in games that count and if he would keep his potentially divisive comments to himself. It’s hard to figure out if his comments are meant to be interpreted badly or if he is just naive or not smart enough to realize that they might be.

  7. How come no mention of Goodell’s 60 minutes piece? Anybody else catch it? It is nice to have a rich daddy.

  8. @FinFan68 …

It’s true you can’t put much stock in what an offensive player does in the Pro Bowl with no defensive opposition. But he was just lovely in the interviews. I didn’t know he’d been otherwise on other occasions. He certainly made the best of his national opportunity all the way ’round last night.
