The giants have 3 WRs that would start for New England. Both NY RBs are better then any RB on the New England roster. QB is a toss up. Don’t bring up 3 Super Bowls from a decade ago.

The Pats have 4-5 guys that would even start in NY. A couple lineman on offense maybe, Wilfork and Gronk (who is playing on one wheel).

Regardless this game doesn’t come down to Gronk playing for the Pats. This game comes down to which defense can make the most stops in the red zone. The Pats have won 10 straight but have not played an offense with the weapons the Giants have. The best QB they beat in that stretch was Flacco and their defense still gave up an average of 20 points a game and those numbers are against Tebow twice and some bum for Kansas City.

The Giants defense has proven they can stop offenses with weapons. Dallas, more weapons then New England, Green Bay best offense in football. Atlanta just as many weapons then New England.

The Giants weapons are only their WR’s. I’d argue that Philly team (even with VY in there) has some pretty talented weapons. They went in to Philly and sh*tbeat them. Dallas doesn’t have more weapons on offense. Please. Green Bay is the highest scoring offense, but they were not the best. The best offense the Giants played this year was New Orleans and they got SMOKED by them. Atlanta is a complete fraud.

Maybe becuase it was an injury filled Pats team that lost, too? Injuries happen and both teams had them at the time. Brady was dealing with tendonitis in his elbow at the time for starters and Chung/Spikes went out of that game late. Both teams are relatively healthy this time around. Past performance doesn’t always equal similar results.

Pats have no D and no running game. Eli is playing lights out and Giants D is playing much better than prior. Oh, and Edelman is going to cover Cruz? I don’t think so.

You see, it is one the to be a fan, (and I admit I’m a Giants fan); it is another to just talk and not know what you are talking about. Posters should at least respect the people who do this for a living.

Giants fans are acting like the Pats were blown out in that game and it was a close thing even with the Pats giving up an uncharacteristic 4 turnovers.

If the Pats protect the ball well this game it could easily go the other way.

Really? You just dont get it? Really? I mean, has it been that long since the Rams beat the Pats in the regular season, in New England, only to see the Pats win out the rest of the way, and beat St Louis in the rematch in Super Bowl 36…. Fast forward 10 years, the Pats lost to the Giants, at home, win out, and meet the Giants in the Super Bowl. Are you really thinking that the Pats have a 0% chance of winning?

Well, there are several reasons:

- Any Given Sunday rule
- Pats were banged up in that game as well
- Week 9 was an eternity ago in football terms.
- both teams will change their gameplans from the first game in all likelihood.

I mean, really? You can’t see the Pats winning this game because of a close game in Week 9? If that’s the case, you “just don’t get it” because you know nothing about football. How simplistic is your thinking?

comparing Roethlisberger’s injury to that of gronk’s is comparing apples and oranges. ben couldnt walk after the game and there were reports that it took him 15 minutes to go from the locker room to the shower (a 30 second walk) as per peter king

gronk not only came back in the game and wasnt limping, but was jumping up and down on the field after the game in excitement.

the severity of the two injuries are drastically different
