Listening to BB yesterday about how often the NYG practiced in pads when he was there made me realize he’s on the same page as I am: hating that part of the CBA that screws coaches chances to prepare their teams even more.

You forgot the LB employed as TE when Vrabel got TD catches in both SB 38 and 39.

And of course Troy Brown had 3 INTs and several passes defensed when he was playing nickleback and corner one season.

@rpmcanes, its called players that are versatile and don’t whine when asked to do something outside of their normal position play. Instead they go out of their way to study and be good at any position the coaches ask them to play or fill in at.

None of those numbers matter, moron…since they weren’t against each other. The only thing that matters one bit is that the Giants have already beaten the Pats once this season…and stand a good chance of doing it again on Sunday.

I believe that having players that can and do play multiple positions is actually the epitome of “team”. What kind of moron points to that as a negative? I’m pretty sure Mike Vrabel did a nice job when he moonlighted as a tight end, right? LB’s that play TE, WR’s that play CB, TE’s that play running back, OL’s that play FB….this is a group of guys that will do whatever it takes to get the job done. That there’s a team, folks.
