2. Dennis Allen may not have a clue what he’s doing.

I feel the same exact way right now. After watching the press conference I was feeling pretty good about the hire and how well Allen could communicate and get this team on the right path.(cutting back the penalties and stupid costly mistakes) I went online to rewatch the press conference again last night and saw that he had offered the OC job to Knapp and all those good feeling went right out the window. This will be a huge mistake! Welcome back to 25th or worse in scoring . This is some straight up Bull S**t!! Knapp really???? It didnt work out the first time and I have no optimism that any thing will change the second time around. Why change from Saunders just to have his “buddy” there to kiss his ass at a huge cost to the team. NO ON KNAPP!!!

everyone here is saying that they should’ve just kept the old OC because the offense had gotten much better over the last couple years. To my recollection, Hue Jackson was the OC for Tom Cable, then became HC. So, who’s to say that the offense that the old (current) OC was running would be the same as what Hue ran? Did Hue call the plays while he was HC as well?

Raiders may have made a huge mistake. Saunders is about as good as OC’s get.

The rules states that if you insist on hiring a young coordinator instead of picking someone from the Old Failed Coaches List, you must hire someone as coordinator who has failed in at least two other locations.
