I think it was more a dig at Harris than Smith. In Smith’s first two drafts, his first round picks were cornerstones on the line of scrimmage that started right away. In Harris’ last two drafts, his first round picks were both let go after three awful years.

I think all owners should take part in the draft processes and free agency, I think that’s a good thing. It’s when they are like Snyder or jj and just get in the way and pre tend to be player personnel guys is when the problems start

I’m not smart enough or psychic enough to know whether Tebow is going to be great. What I’ve seen says no, that defensive coordinators are going to get a read on him. But hey, I’m wrong all the time. So, I’m not going to say Timmy sucks. However, there’s little that indicates he’s as good as the drunk guy thinks.

As for drafting Tebow, Tim grew up in Jacksonville so he would have sold a boatload of tickets. He wouldn’t have won games, but he’d be perfect for that city and franchise. And maybe I misread, but he said he’d have drafted Tim Tebow. He didn’t say he’d draft Tim Tebow to be the QB.

Gabbert sucks. Oh my gosh, I haven’t seen someone look that timid and nervous in the pocket in a long time. It’s really tough to watch that guy play football.

Now hopefully he doesn’t keep speaking openly in public, can’t have good atmosphere if you’re creating friction with current players faster than the coaches can handle.

I don’t know where to start; the awful grammar, flawed logic or continuous misspelling of “teebow”.

If you actually look at the leaked cowboys draft board, they had Alualu at #22. They took Dez in that draft, who they had at either 11 or 12 (jerry’s arm blocks it). A late first round pick made sense, not #10. The ‘Phins were at #28 that draft. neither team was about to take him. it’s ok to accept the fact that the pick was a terrible reach.

And a 12 sacks a year DE while you are at it!
