Getty ImagesThe Giants practiced without pads on Friday and they also practiced without running back Ahmad Bradshaw.
Bradshaw has been battling an injured right foot for much of the season and Tom Coughlin told PFWA pool reporter Peter King that the foot was “a little sore.” His absence on Friday shouldn’t have any bearing on Super Bowl 46, though.
“He’ll be ready,” Coughlin said. “He’ll be listed as probable. In fact, I don’t believe we’ll have anyone listed as questionable for the game.”
Five other Giants are listed as probable on the injury report. Defensive end Osi Umenyiora and safety Tyler Sash were limited in practice while wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, cornerback Corey Webster and linebacker Jacquian Williams were all full participants.
The Giants will hold a jog-through practice during the day on Saturday and 75 minutes of meetings Saturday night to wrap up their week of preparation for the Super Bowl. Coughlin said after Friday’s practice that he’s satisfied with his team’s readiness ahead of the game.
“So far this week, we’ve accomplished what we needed to accomplish,” Coughlin said. “The players have practiced hard and spirited. I think we’ll be well-prepared for the game.”
Really not much else this guy can practice at the rb position and at this point in the season. Re-charging your batteries comes first. My prediction:
-Gronk is inneffective
-Giants win 27-17 in a game where the Pats never seem to have a chance
P.S. this comes from an Eagles fan. my heart says F g-men but my rational thought says they will be victorious
But will they be prepared for the Patriots to be introduced not only as a team, but also in the order in which they raised money to fight puppy cancer?
Wasn’t he running around full speed yesterday? Should have saved that for the game….oops.

Nice subtle dig, Coughlin. LOL
I expected this. Definitely want to rest his feet. Can’t wait for Sunday. 2 more days.
I do not think that Bradshaw is a special talent, however the guy has serious heart and sounds like he is a spark plug for this offense. This guy wants to win, bad.
I wonder if the Patriots will take a page from the Giants game plan target his feet? I know Rex Ryan would.
How is this news? Bradshaw hardly ever practices. its all good
I’m sure he’ll be fine and contribute heavily to the Giants 44-0 rout of the hapless Patriots on Sunday.
The Big Apple will be jubilant.
.
they couldnt tackle Jacobs week 9 so this is just silly…

Great insight – keep it coming – so helpful
Why has this particular post attracted such a collection of useless drivel ?
They’ve been doing this with Bradshaw much of the year – ie- NOT practicing in the final practice 2 days prior to the game. And it has worked for a fresher sounder Bradshaw on gameday.

Hey Bozo, did you know that the New England Patriots………
………….. ARE IN THE FREAKING SUPER BOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BWWWWWWAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAA
Bradshaw is good and he’ll be fine; nothing is broken and pain will be blotted out. Turn-overs will likely decide the game, as they often do. I like the Pats in a close one.
No biggie. All that matters, is that the Patsie Boys lose.
I hope Bradshaw’s fine, I’m rootin’ for the Pats, but I want both teams at as close to full strength as they possibly can be. Should be a great game!
Giants defense > Patriots defense
Eli Manning is about as good as Tom Brady
Giants wide receivers > Patriots wide receivers
But Gronk not being 100% is the true difference.
Giants 31, Patriots 20.
Tom is smart, and he doesn’t go out of his way to outsmart other coaches for spite.
I caught that questionable vs. probable comment he made. And I like Bill.
Bradshaw needs a couple of full days to ensure he’s fresh and not sore on Sunday. I’m glad he practiced sooner than Friday.
Jacobs will have a huge game!

marine,
Although I am hoping for a Pats’ victory, I’d like to thank you for your service to our country.
Pats will blow out the overrated Gints. The Pats are not taking this one lightly the way they did 4 years ago. The Giants are in big trouble. I see a Pats 42-17 blowout. Giants go home with their heads down.
I love the 31-20 call. That’s the call I’ve had all week.
