Haha. Look at all these stupid eagles and cowboys fans crying. Your teams suck like mine does, and are run just as poorly. Philly fans may disagree but you are the only NFC east team with a big fat zero in the superbowl category. Give the giants some credit by keeping your mouths shut

1. It was no secret the Giants needed a QB, it was no secret the Giants wanted Eli, it was no secret that the Giants are an organization of winning superbowl tradition.
Eli was smart to enough to recognize that wasn’t what the Chargers were and wanted to align himself with a better run franchise. He’s obviously been proven right as the Chargers are ringless and can’t even win the AFC West and Eli’s got a ring and is in his second superbowl.

Asante Samuel, Nnamdi, TO, Vick ($100 milll down the drain), Kearse and the 20 players picked up in 2010. Every single one of the guys were the no 1, free agents on the market going in to their FA years and each time the Eagles paid bucket loads for each one. Thats saying something. Your team is all about being flashy and blowing all your cap on one big name free agent. I guess not winning a superbowl causes your team to have

3. New GIANTS stadium is a traditional football stadium unlike that spaceship in Dallas – style over substance. Besides the Giants paid half along with that other team to build it.

Behind your pathetic attempts of trying to poke holes in the Giants front office operations, in which we’ve won one and possibly two (touch wood) SBs under Jerry Reese’s 4 year tenure, secretly I know your wishing your Eagles team could be run half as good as ours. Make sure to tune in on Sunday to watch Nicks and JPP you know the two talents you passed on to go for much lesser players.

eaglebobby – Thanks for enlightening us all. When it comes to building a championship team, no one does it like Philly. Any advice and/or insight coming from an Eagles fan is much appreciated because no team in the NFL can match the Eagles success at winning it all year after year after. 1960, assclown. The Giants were lucky that Dallas had Garrett as head coach. If Dallas pulled out just 2 of the 5 losses that should have been wins (aside from the Pats game maybe), the Giants never would have been in the playoffs. Vs the Jets – Witten’s lack of desire, fumble on the 1 (after 2 throws), blocked punt, Vs the Kittens – up 24-3, Garrett tells Romo to keep throwing in 2nd half = 2 TDs and another leads to TD, Vs. the Pats – defense picked apart, Vs. the Pigeons (Cards)- freezes kicker, 10 days to prepare vs a 4-7 team, multiple chances in red zone and inside the 40, Vs. the Gnats (game 1)- blocked FG, Austin can’t see the ball, up by 14 in the 4th. The Giants definitely turned it around, but were rather lucky to get in, as well as Dallas blowing it.

2. This is the only time that the Eagles signed a lot of FAs. Usually, in the past, it’s been maybe 1 or 2. So, no, they haven’t been “trying to by a champinship team like the dream team has done as of late.”

3. As for “Oh yeah, Superbowls are not won by building flashy $1 billion stadia and living off of glories last century.”–how much did Metlife Stadium cost?

What distinguishes the Giants and its front office from its other NFC East counterparts;

1. It doesn’t trade away draft picks and when they very rarely do, they get a franchise, future HOF, QB, instead of giving up two no1′s for Roy Williams. 2. It doesn’t splash out in free agency trying to build a ‘dream team’ and buy a superbowl like the skins, and eagles have done of late. 3. Oh yeah, Superbowls are not won by building flashy $1 billion stadia and living off of glories last century.

The Giants have a top notch scouting team and build through the draft taking the BPA instead of filling lesser value players to fill a need and have churned out top quality starters on both offense and defense for the last 6-7 years.

Last year Jay Cutler gets hurt in the NFCC, Packers win by a TD then go on to win the SB. Ted Thompson = vindicated.

This year Packers secondary can’t tackle and misplays a hail mary, and the offense fumbles 5 times. Giants go on to a SB. Jerry Reese = vindicated.

It’s talent, sure, but so much of it is luck and match-ups.
