APNear the top of the NBC Super Bowl XLVI pregame show, Alex Flanagan reported that Patriots coach Bill Belichick said today that tight end Rob Gronkowski “definitely” will play tonight.
But Belichick hasn’t decided how much Gronk will participate.
Per Flanagan, Belichick will make the decision after seeing what Gronkowski does at full speed, something he hasn’t been able to do since injuring his left ankle two weeks ago.

duh
because you have like a 40% chance without him and a 67% chance of winning the superbowl with him
Time to prepare for the parade in Boston streets!
Way to fake an injury. Nobody believed your act fools.

“Time to prepare for the parade in Boston streets!”
I didn’t realize you folks threw a parade when your team loses. That’s very thoughtful. I’m sure the players appreciate it.
Of course he’ll suit and play. The real question is how much is his game affected by the injury. High ankle sprains usually take a player completely out of a game. When the 3rd Quarter starts the question will be answered by how much he plays.
It was all an act…hes been running full speed for days, just another one of Bill’s antics.
Giants should just forfeit, no way we can beat the Pats now.
Of course he’s going to play……. JUST NOT VERY GOOD!
Faking his injury? Those of you complaining @ Gronkowski faking his injury clearly didn’t watch his lower leg almost fold into two against Ravens.
Hopefuly 85 gave him pointers on his salsa dance.
I think this is classic Bill up playing an injury. Has Tom Brady ever been taken off the questionable list?
Definitely, at least a series and they figure out he can’t play on that hobbled ankle. Too bad they won’t be at 100% but it won’t matter anyway. Go Giants!
@rigirl1818, Im not saying he didnt get hurt on the play…Im saying its been known all along he would play today. This isnt shocking news.
I’m ready for Gronk Mode!
Patriots pool reporter Tom Curran said Gronk was running sprints at full speed.
“Classic Bill . . . Has Tom Brady ever been taken off the questionable list?”
Do some homework on Belichick before commenting
YO SOY FIESTA
Thumbs up if you knew all week Gronk was gonna play, thumbs down if you had any doubt.
Good. One less excuse for Pats fans. Btw, who would win a TC vs BB stare down?
I could not agree with kingcarl more ! But here in lies the excuse kingcarl ! When brady is ragdolled and can’t answer the bell do to concussion like symptoms they will have a new set of excuses !
Of couse he will bill your not that good of a coach you need every possible body suited up !
