What, in ANY of those comments, deserves a thumbs down besides some A Hole trolling trying to cause problems.

DPOY on the 2-16 team. Problem is, he played too good on one of those wins. 3 sacks vs. the Pats in 1992.

Seattle wins that game and then “loses” the tie breaker with the similar 2-16 Pats for the #1 pick that year. If SEA lost, they’d have had Drew Bledsoe and NE would’ve picked Mirer. Seattle would’ve been a lot better a lot sooner, and without Bledsoe, Tom Brady never makes his way to NE is most likely never gets in the league, or has Superbowl rings, or married to a supermodel.

So long story short, Cortez Kennedy should be thanked by Pats fans and Tom Brady, every single day.

Really Genious? politics? you do know you are talking about a Seattle Seahawk right? the least recognized team in the NFL? politics had nothing yo do with Cortez getting in the HOF. Lets go off of stats. 1992 NFL defensively player of the year on a 2-14 team. 58 career sacks for a DT. 8 pro bowls in a 10 year career. 3 time all pro. 11 forced fumbles, 6 recoveries, 568 tackles with 100 assisted tackles, 3 interceptions and 1 touchdown. those are hall of fame numbers! especially when you are the only premier player on your team not just your side of the ball

Think about that. It was a historically bad year for Seattle’s offense, but he was able to make enough of an impression on the other side of the ball he was selected as DPOY. Now figure that he played in Seattle, where hardly anyone ever watched him play. That’s how good he was.
